Was so very excited to stay at the Ritz for my wedding two weeks ago. I was very disappointed to say the least. I was to stay two nights; one on Friday and one on Saturday (the night of my wedding). In advance, I told them that Saturday night was my wedding night. I was to stay with my maid of honor on Friday night. They said theyd have champagne for me the night of the wedding. My MOH and I check in Friday and there was champagne waiting for us in the room. (1) Wrong night for the champagne. Saturday morning some of my bridesmaids came over to get ready for my wedding and so the room ended up in a mess. We called room service to make sure the room was cleaned for my wedding night. After our wedding, my husband and I walked into the hotel room and it was still a complete mess. We called room service and complained and they ended up moving us to a new room, which was good, but we had to ask to be put in a new room. It was not offered. (2) Came back from my wedding to messy room. They put flower petals in the bed of the new room and gave us new ice for the champagne and all seemed to be fixed. However, the next morning after checking out, we went to get my husbands car and valet had my husband waiting 20 minutes. The security guard came up to my husband and said, "Youve been waiting here a while!" and went to go look into the matter. (Thank you, security guard!) My husband continued to wait very patiently. The valet guy comes up to my husband and asked, "Are you sure you parked here?" (mind you, the man had my husbands car keys in his hand). My husband had to go looking for his car and at that moment they finally pulled it up and at this point, my husband was upset. Naturally so! The valet said, "Theres your car.", handed my husband his keys and walked away. My husband complained that he was paying $35 for this terrible service and valet said "Thatll be $35". Are you kidding me? We will NEVER be staying at this hotel ever again. Thank you, Ritz Carlton Buckhead, for making my wedding night and first day of marriage so wonderfully memorable. (3) RUDE and INEFFICIENT valet "service"

One of my favorite hotels anywhere, I have been visiting here since 1990 and my recent stay was very nice. I love the staff at most all Ritz Carltons and I am a strong supporter of their employee mantra "Ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen". My recent stay was no exception. The hotel is still beautiful inside and out. The staff was courteous and professional at all levels, from the auto valets to the front desk. They are very welcoming and professional at all times. My "standard" room (non suite, open floor) was very dated and in need of upgrading, both decor and furniture. But the bed was outstanding and the other features in the hotel were top notch, as usual. I am especially fond of the Bar off the main lobby, and the fitness center is one my favorites anywhere. I always recommend this hotel to friends and business associates. In all my years of recommending, and having dozens and dozens of people stay, I have not heard one complaint. The consistency here is amazing. Some say that with all the new hotel construction in Buckhead (Mandarin, St Regis, Inter-Continental) that The Ritz is no longer THE hotel in which to stay. Not for me. Even with a room that is a little out-of-date, this is the hotel for me in Atlanta. Why no five star rating? On this visit, the hotel was not full. I was offered no upgrades to Club Level. In the bar, the appetizer ordered was poor. I was offered nothing as a replacement or even an apology. It is the small things. On this last trip they fell short. I am sure it will not happen again.

No free wifi in the room, which is not acceptable. When you pay such a high rate for a room, you should at least have wifi in your room, not having to pay 12$/day. Even the cheapest hostel or hotel offers this service so I cant believe this does not happen in a hotel like The Ritz-Carlton. I was also not let do late checkout and the Concierge Receptionist was not nice about it- there are many different ways to communicate something, and this can change the whole way someone take the bad news. I was feeling sick and needed extra time, but she had not empathy at all and she hanged up quickly. On the other hand, the room was very clean (except someone elses hair on the shower the day I arrived) and the bed was really comfortable. Room service is very expensive but good quality- excepting the avocado toast, which I could not eat since it had a very bad taste. Overall I wouldnt mind staying again but Id probably look for a better and probably cheaper alternative.

My husband and I came to stay here for 1 night for our 7th year anniversary. First we are greated by the nicest valets. Then the door greeters. You go to the front check in and there was a wonderful woman named Fanny who was serving mimosas and she was SO nice every time we saw her. Every where we went the entire staff remembered it was our anniversary. Then when we went to the brunch buffet (which was the best thing ever! Only the experience can explain how great it was) we were talking to the lady at the pasta bar and talked about our business to her and she was so sweet. Next thing you know we took a nap and woak up to a wonderful letter from her and a gift from the Ritz for our anniversary. I loved this place! Rooms nice and clean. The bed... Let me just say I have a $3,500 mattress at home and I want their bed instead! Pool was great... Ended our stay with a hug from Fanny! I never give reviews but I had to! Thanks to all the Ritz staff! -The Wolfels

Went for xmas dinner. wide spread food wise but not everything was as hot/fresh tasting as youd expect. Not to say it was bad, but compared to an off the menu meal at the ritz falters a bit. however, my pity for all of the people having to work on xmas and all the work that goes into it matched with the fact that it makes for a more condensed meal with family who are more than likely to get into a heated politics discussion given the right amount of time make it a good choice. Its a buffet but a classy one.... Still a buffet though... So yeah. Also I wasnt paying so that also helped. on a side note, weird to see large screen tvs playing sports in what is supposed to be a fancy establishment and they had a Santa claus walking around who was being all sorts of creepy all over the place.

Everything was so wonderful! I was here with my 4&3 year olds, while my husband worked. The staff was so generous towards my kids and gave them so many gifts. Although they were missing Daddy, they felt loved by all the friendly staff that took the time to talk with them and get to know them. Our room was taken care of perfectly and we had an ample supply of chocolate at all times. Our AC stopped working one night and they had it fixed within 5 minutes and still have us a complimentary breakfast for the morning. It was really unnecessary but we took it and the breakfast buffet was great! We spent s lot of time in the pool and that was lovely too. Would have loved to use the fitness room but the whole two kids in tow thing kind of stopped me. Hope I get to come back one day!
