I realize this is the site for every other season of "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate," but all that can really be said about this venue is "old-fashioned," nothing "clean" about it (especially the local area), and yes, I do "hate" it. Its bad enough it only seats 55,000, but I guess when its Tech, there really isnt much demand for a capacity crowd above that. Still... it was fun watching my Dawgs record win #8 in a row here in 2015.

Stadium for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football, it houses up to 50,000 in open air bench seating. Rather out of place on the brick and steel aesthetic of the rest of the university, and greatly lacking sun protection, be sure to bring a change of clothes. Very standard for a large historic university, though perhaps disappointing for one specializing in engineering.

Been to a few games as a grad student here. Not as much seating as Im used to seeing in a college football stadium, but its nice because the lines for concessions and the restrooms tend to be much shorter because of it. There are usually deals to get tickets for a game, Id recommend looking for those first if youre interested in attending one.

I have been to Bobby Dodd on multiple occasions, (2007, 2009), both times I have been my team has won. However, the stadium is old as dirt and needed to be renovated a long time ago. The stadium is located in an area of high crime. Lastly, the stadiums size is laughable compared to Sanford Stadium, which seats 92,746 people.

Not a bad seat in the house. Family friendly atmosphere both inside the stadium, and outside in the plaza for Georgia Tech pregame rituals. Lines can be long at concession stands, but that is to be expected. City of Atlanta provides a beautiful backdrop for the home of the Yellow Jackets.

Definitely an awesome atmosphere for some good ol GT football. Been a fan all my life, and absolutely love coming to this historic stadium. The stadium, and the campus in its entirety is beautiful. Look forward to coming here even more!

This stadium is not as huge as other college stadiums but the energy on game day is electric! I always feel safe because of the police prescence that is there but seems to blend in with the crowd so as to not cause a panic.

The most historic stadium in college football sits square in middle of downtown Atlanta; the city backdrop with a full house Thuraday night ESPN game is one of the electric atmospheres you can experience as a fan.

There are some issues you would expect with an older stadium jammed into downtown Atlanta, but you will definitely enjoy experiencing a football game here. Definitely recommended!
