This Floridian has raced on this track since the 70s. For drivers and spectators, the 12-hour race has only gotten better as the years go by. (But it had a long way to go since my first visit in 1962). If you go, try to arrange a trailer-top view, as they otherwise block much of the view from ground level. The track was converted from a B-17 bomber base from WWII. The reason its not a 24-hour race, is that the tracks surface is too rough on the cars, and nobody would finish! Still, its challenging in its own way, and I decided to retire, lakeside, 12 miles away, and instruct (from the passenger seat) in BMW and Porsche club events.

As it pertains to the 12 hours of sebring: awesome track and race, but dont camp. This track is filled with intoxicated individuals acting stupid into the early morning. Dont recommend bringing kids or anyone not in their teens. Large RVs block almost all views of the track from your camp site. Track offers zero hook-upsfor RV, but its okay. People just run generators all night. Enjoy sleeping. To say the track is "laid back" is misleading. Classless sums up a good portion of the nonsense going on here. You will meet great people and others whom Im not sure even know theres a race happening.

Limited Showers on property - only 3 showers in mid field (for men), and 5 infield for 150,000+ people - you do the math = pathetic! Filthy Place - be prepared to spend a LOT for food, beer/drinks, and anything you want. Only 1 bar across the street on the main hwy 27 (some "Watering hole") and they dont even bother advertising with Sebring. Huge place there but no way could they handle the rush either. Seems that the whole city is broke, the race full of locals (mainly Kids) and the 20% crowd with their million dollar motor homes and vip needs. For warned is for armed!

I have been to the 12 Hours of Sebring twice now and had a great time on both occasions. Spectator mounds are placed throughout the track which is on an abandoned portion of an airfield, which gives great views of every corner and strait on this very flat terrain. There is free parking just outside the track and shuttles that take you in and out. I cant speak to the smaller events, but the 12 Hours is great in every way.

We were in Sebring and wanted to see the track and hope to see some racing. There was only a club event scheduled SCCA. The track staff were very helpful in directing us toward SCCA officials so we could see about attending their event. The SCCA staff was great and gave us all access passes. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. We had a great time and cant wait to make it to the 12 hrs.

Awesome track facilities. Staff was amazing. This was my first time here I was part of the first drift event at @sebring with USDC. Hopefully well have several more. I felt like I was in another state the people were so nice. You dont get that kinda service in South Fla with out paying the $ for it. Also the sweet tea was great! Cant wait to go back.

On my way too 2014 races! See you on the other side! Woo hoo Ive met the nicest people, stay in same spot every year & look forward to seeing everyone & the constant roaring of engines! Love 12 hour race! Forget about Daytona, as racing goes the real drivers are at this race! Professional, sportsmanship, this is world class racing at its finest

I look forward to the 12 hours of sebring every year, I recommend getting there early and try to stay as long as possible. its really a great place to watch a race, its also a great place for club racing. Its not very often you get a chance to race on the same pavement as the greatest racers in the world.

I have been to the 12 hour race 8 times now and i never tire of it! The car specs keep changing but the raw excitement of night racing (without having to endure a 24 hour stint) is as good as it gets. Sebring is off the beaten trail and that makes the week easy to enjoy. Less traffic, less wait.

12 Hours of Sebring is definitely a "gotta-go-in-your-lifetime" event! Its an action and party packed 4 day event with enjoyment for all ages, young or old. Theres almost like a cult following - every single turn, theres hundreds of friendly people with an open tent and a free drink.

Great track and the best sports car race in the USA! The 12 Hours of Sebring is fantastic! Always on the third Saturday in March. Tradition, history, excellent viewing, kids admitted free. Family fun! Where else can you see the same great teams that race at Le Mans! Daytona sucks.

I love this track. The 12 hour race is a yearly tradition, and something everyone should attend at least once. They could certainly improve the grounds a bit, and lower the prices ($85 for a one day ticket and $55 to park), but this is one of my favorite places on Earth.

Never a dull moment. Many groups come here and share their passion for racing and food; a great combination. The vintage car racing is my favorite. Quite a delight in viewing race car drivers up close in an Austin Martin, Ferrari, and Porsche, etc.

Loved this track. Loved the NSXPO people. Extremely grateful to Vince and Chin Motorsports for taking me around. The booth was air conditioned. They had free WiFi. The snack shack was pretty good and had a lot to offer compared to other tracks.

Sebring is home to one of Americas most historic LeMans circuits. The atmosphere is always open and welcoming. The staff here are kind and informative. If youre a race enthusiast, SIR is like a home away from home.

Ive raced bicycles here for Bike Sebring 12/24 Hours and Ive ridden in cars around the track. Its the home of Mobile 1 12-Hours of Sebring , the best racing experience a fan (or non race fan) could ever have!

I worked, raced and tested here many a years and you can get your kicks but the track isnt that great to drive on. Bumpy, old, crumbling and flat. But if you go as a spectator for the 12 hours, its a BLAST!

The 12 Hours of Seabring is a must do experience. Second time at the event and I will continue to come yearly. Can watch the race from anywhere around the track. Get up close to the driver and cars.

Historic racetrack. Limited facilities for fans to watch the races from different location. It looks like little or no money has been invested in improvements to enhance the fans experience.

This 66 year old raceway is the place to be for sports car racing fans. Theres the annual races of course and during the off times you can even learn how to drive one of the fast cars here.
