I was at the opening night of DRIVING MISS DAISY! I was most impressed with the casting of Miss Daisy and her son! Unfortunately, I could not understand much of the dialogue of the chauffeur. The ladies at my table were having the same problem. I can tell that the gentleman is a fine actor: his body language, facial expressions and timing are excellent! But I believe that his accent is overdone. What he is saying is so integral to this play. The set is beautiful as always!
