As a Sarasota performer, I have to say that the Players Theatre is an institution as ingrained in the community as the beaches we are famous for. The theatre is a pillar for many of the local performers and artists. Both the staff and volunteers have an incredible esprit de corps. Whether you are a performer or simply a fan of watching live theatre, open your heart to the Players and if it enriches you half as well as Ive experienced, you will be one lucky fan!

Come here for my kids school performances a couple times a year. Place is a dump, but in fairness, it is slated to be torn down soon.
