Ive been going to Oxbow for years. The trails are beautiful! The educational center is small, but very nice, definitely worth going inside if youve never been. There are quite a few trails, with nice little trail markers along the way. All of the trails are very well maintained, But still retain a very natural feel. There are also two observation towers that you can walk up and get some nice views. All in all, a must see for the nature enthusiast on the Treasure Coast!

Great education center with friendly staff. Wonderful trails to walk on for a couple hours. The only thing keeping it from being a 5 star is that some of the trails towards the back can get rather wet at times and become quite muddy. Other than that, I love the place and try to go once or twice a year. Its a little slice of nature and tranquility in amongst what the Treasure Coast has become.

Beautiful education center, and the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Lots of beautiful, quiet trails run back towards the river. The trail that parallels the SLR can be strenuous if you are only used to hiking flat trails - the trail is rather hilly (great place to get in shape, though!!). Still, a beautiful place to relax and take in some real Florida.

Great place to visit if you like nature. They offer hikes for beginners and more advanced hikers. Not a lot of extra facilities like a dining area, so food may have to be brought to the center or purchased in an outside facility. Groups or individuals that sign up in advance can take advantage of hiking and camping related activities offered to the public.

Loved it , we took our almost 4 year old and he had a blast. The otter trail was our favorite. Very neat trails. We even saw a turtle along the way.
