This is without a doubt my favorite place to visit in Coral Springs, and as we were passing through town, we were was not going to miss the opportunity. The sky was overcast and not too hot which made the hike even better. Walking the trails wildlife was plentiful. We saw butterflies, dragonflies, lizards, birds: mockingbirds, cardinal, catbirds, and most interesting: a family of raccoons scavenging and playing along the mud bank. Unfortunately the peaceful serenity was ruined by a low flying helicopter buzzing overhead. Upon leaving we noticed that the school next door was on lock-down and surrounded by police cars in all directions. I wonder what was going on there?

A nice and easy stroll through nature on a boardwalk. Well maintained and taken care of. There are a few picnic tables intermingled within the parking area in case you bring a lunch.

A wonderful natural area with a .4 mile boardwalk. While walking through the natural area I saw many native plant and animal species. This place is very well maintained.
