If you are a shopper, this hotels location is superb, since the mall is literally connected to the hotel. There are many restaurants nearby. For the price, the room was very chic, clean, and housekeeping was excellent. The bathtubs are rather small and basic, so dont expect any romantic bubblebath possibilities. The pool is nice and clean, but nothing extra spectacular. Just some things to be aware of: - There is an extra $12/day fee that they will make you pay AFTER youve booked the room. This covers things that should be included with any normal hotel, such as wifi and self-parking. - There are no microwaves in the rooms. You have to take your food to the downstairs cafe and ask them to use the microwave in the store. - Wifi is only available on 1st and 2nd floors. Floors above have hardwire connections. - Escalators, elevator, and a few other things were out of order during our stay - Front desk is pretty busy. Dont expect to get through very quickly. If you dont mind these negative things, Id recommend this hotel. Just know before you go!

Its not easy to travel and leave your family behind, but as a working mother its necessary. My first trip to Orlando, Fl was suppose to be a very excited one, but due to mild anxiety episodes during my flight, it started out terrible. I was not feeling well when I arrived on the hotel campus and just wanted to sleep. With a headache and aching feet, I was greeted by the bellman. He was very nice and patient with us and assisted us with a smile. We preceding to check in, and was also greeted with a smile by front desk clerks. Dragging to my room, the housekeeping attendants were extremely nice and was eager to ensure our stay was filled with relaxation. R.J. was just one of the attendants that I remember. He was very nice, always asked if we needed anything, and did it with a sincere smile. He had meal suggestions like The Crickets Bar & Grill where we enjoyed some great food served in a mesmerizing atmosphere. He also had suggestions for transportation and entertainment. what a wonderful staff! I can not wait to return for my next conference.

My absolute FAVORITE hotel to stay at! Always very clean, well maintained, and the staff is wonderful. They always make us feel like they genuinely appreciate our business there and never fail to ask if there is any way they could make our stay more enjoyable. I only live in Tampa, but Ill go out of my way to plan trips to Orlando just to stay here. The fact that it is connected to a mall is so convenient, we can arrive, settle in, then go for a quick shop or dinner at one of the awesome restaurants around it. The bar in the lobby is so nice and the bartenders are always very friendly. I give this hotel 20 thumbs up, i would give it numerous 5 star ratings if i could. If youre in the orlando area and need a place to stay I will recommend The Florida Hotel & Conference Center 100% of the time!

Not worth the price. Thankfully, we only stayed one night. The air conditioning never got cold, even though it was set on 60 degrees - the lowest possible option. The television only had one channel (one HBO) that did not have commercials. We ordered breakfast via room service, thinking the price on the flyer showing $12.95 per person was the only fee. Not so. There was also a room service fee on our bill when we checked out. There was no air vent/fan in the bathroom, so steam could not escape without leaving the door open. However, the bed was nice and had plenty of pillows and the blackout curtains were great. The location of our room was perfect, right next to the conference we were attending. Overall, the staff and appearances were nice, but I would not stay there again.

The Florida Hotel and Conference Center is in a decent location. The Florida Mall is attached to it, and there is a CVS in there which is convenient. There is a Publix down the road, about 5 minutes away. The restaurant in the hotel is decently priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit underwhelming. My room was damp and musty. There was hair in the sheets, and a bit of dried bloodstain on the bed I didnt use. The furniture was a bit dingy, but its a hotel so they get used a lot. There was a lot of conference space and it seemed well set up. There is a $75 fee for ending a reservation early. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a conference, but I wouldnt pay this much for this kind of hotel if it hadnt been reimbursed by my employer

I have stayed at this hotel several times for conferences. Each time the service has exceeded my exceptions. (I have pretty high expectations). Everyone from valet, to check-in, to room service, and the restaurants has been friendly. Their conference signage could be a little better, especially when they have things overlapping but that is really the only complaint. The hotel is connected to the mall and is close to the food court for those who dont want to pay hotel prices for an entree. I have done that in the past but this time stayed within the property and was pleasantly surprised at how yummy the entrees were from room service. Recently having gone gluten free I was dreading the menus but they have quite a few options. YAY!!

Love this hotel! The whole facility is very modern and kept up well. It all is clean and the staff is very friendly. I have been using this hotel for business travel to orlando and each time its been a great experience. The rooms are quiet which makes it very easy to focus on work and get everything done that I need to. The fact that the lobby connects into the Florida mall was a nice convenience (even though I end up spending money I hadnt planned on). I also love that there is a Starbucks in the lobby. A girls gotta have that morning coffee! I highly recommend to anyone visiting Orlando. Ive stayed at a couple other places in the area and this one was a much higher quality experience for the same money.

Vorsicht!!!

Found this great place on expedia. O needed the room for the night because of work. Check in was fast and easy They have a texting service you can use I stead of calling the front desk. Nice added feature. Very comfy King bed with a nice sofa and big bathroom. It was nice being connected to the mall. I went downstairs and was walking around the mall before I knew it. Stopped by M&M world which I highly suggest lol. Found some food in the food court and was back enjoying the hotel. There were def cheaper places in the area but the parking lots have light with security and other good amenities. $101 a night came to about $115 after tax etc plus a $20 resort fee so $135 total.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... The Florida hotel and conference center is amazing. I have stayed for no less than six consecutive nights for the last three years at this hotel. The staff is super friendly the rooms are sizable, clean, and beautifully decorated. We never have any issues during our stay. If you are worried about safety since the hotel is connected to the Florida mall dont be. You cannot access the elevators or any of the room floors without a room key card. It is honestly the best hotel Ive ever stayed at!
