My visit to Duran in November was a disaster. After 18 holes I visited the bar/restaurant and left my clubs on the power cart in front of the pro shop. My group were considering another 9 holes. This was the second day of a golf vacation. When I went to retrieve them, they had been stolen along with my camera, golf GPS SkyCaddie and other possessions. The total value of the loss was just under $4000. The club professionals attitude was cavalier and his sarcastic comment that clubs could be rented was unnecessary. The clubs were removed without my knowledge or consent. Both Duran and their insurance company, The Travelers have denied liability. The Travelers agent denied with the comment that they did not know who stole the clubs and therefore have denied. This is a caution to anyone who uses the facility not to leave their property out of sight! Thanks Duran for nothing!!!!

recommend Duran Golf Club because they have a world class General Manager: David Tomczak has been with the Duran Golf Club from its opening in 2004, involved in the initial development and planning of the course. He has been in the golf industry for over 30 years, and is a Quarter Century Member of the PGA of America. David is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and received his degree while playing on a golf scholarship at Lake Sumter C.C. His duties include direction of the Management Team, overall operational and fiscal responsibility for the Duran Golf Club, and to develop and ensure the club standards of service that will assure the best experience. Great course with an unbelievably friendly and accomodating staff. The course is always in great condition, and I find it very playable on even my most challenging days. I love the coastal breezes in the summer time and the fact that I can head to the par 3 course at night to avoid the hot summer sun. All of the staff members know my name and theyre always very willing to go out of their way to say hello. The food is fantastic! I love the sunday brunch! Its very reasonably priced for the abundance of great food that you get! I give the course an A++!

Well maintained course and staff is friendly enough. Lacking on play management. Nearly 3 hours for nine holes is way to slow, which causes frustrating overall experience.

Played Saturday and Sunday! Golf course in great condition, greens were fast and challenging. Staff friendly. Would recommend. Club house first rate!

Duran is a great track. Constant island tradewinds across both 9s. Luv playing there. Always plays tuff. Greens perfect everytime of the year.

Mobile tee time sign up needs work. Getting error of "Cast Not Valid". No idea what that means. Had to call for tee time.
