Great part of Davie is the preservation of some of the natural environment as it was before the urban sprawl. This is a very special place, and was the home of the Tequesta Indians some 3000 years ago. The ridge is the highest natural elevation point in Broward County. Starting in the Forest Ridge community, the entrance to the Ridge features a statute of Major Lauderdale. The Ridge path leads downwards through ancient trees and ends at Tree Tops Park - another must visit place.

Most beautiful place youll find in Davie. Whether its to get some peace, look at turtles or watch the sun rise. Beware of the flies and mosquitoes though. If your blood is sweet they will swarm you.

Beautiful with its rolling hills, concrete pathways, and many trees and bushes. It is so fun to cycle there in such a beautiful natural environment.

Its nice quiet loop walk, just a bit sandy in some points: about 25-35 minutes.Early morning may run into spiders webs but spiders are cool too!

Pleasant stop in west-central Broward. Informative presentations. Great location for events (think weddings). Beautiful natural area / park.

I would give it a 5 star but they removed all the exercise stop areas along the fit trail. So its basically just a trail now :(
