Whispering Oaks Winery is in a beautiful farm with livestock just minutes off of I-75 in Oxford, Florida. From the looks they also have 20 acres of vibrant blueberry plants that provide the basis for the wines made. However, once inside the wine bar, we were less impressed. Wine tasting is $5 per person and you get to choose four wines to taste. The wine is served in small glass tumblers, not wine glasses. Also, there is not cheese or crackers available to clean the palet after each sample. The wine server was inexperienced and more like a bar maid than a wine afficianado. None of the wines struck our fancy, so we left without making a purchase.

This place is great and super friendly. The wine is by far among my favorite. Love the sassy sangria and if you time it right, the cha cha chocolate is awesome, but only seasonal so you better buy plenty to get you through the year. The environment is relaxing and comfortable, so you can grab a glass or bottle and sit down with friends and enjoy. I saw some of the other remarks and I have to say that if crackers is your biggest complaint, then you are too stuck on yourself and since its not for you, its probably why its actually enjoyable there.

we stumbled on this place after horseback riding for a few hours. We walked in and had never been here, no one greeted us or told us where to sit or anything. I finally asked if we just sit ourselves the hostess was very rude and said yep and its going to be awhile. We sat outside and no one ever came to help us or show us the wine. After 15 minutes another larger group sat and was waited on in just seconds after they were seated. They have horrible customer service and I will never visit this place again.

No greeter/hostess. So you sort of wander in and look around while no one tells you where you can sit. The bathroom light was being fixed while there were people in it. (So it was dark and there were people in there.) I saw the bartender sticking her fingers in the glasses to pick them up. We left after waiting for about a half an hour without service. And there was a loose piglet in the parking lot. Im giving 3 stars because theyre obviously brand new at this, and I am giving them a break.

Quaint tasting room, but tastings are $5 for 4 flavors and since I didnt care much for the wine most of my wine was thrown away. They also dont serve crackers to cleanse the palate. You can purchase a cheese tray that has crackers, but normally wineries provide oyster crackers at no charge. Also, the air conditioning was on, but the front doors were open which allowed for flies. The server wasnt very social and didnt volunteer any information.

Went for Steak night. Steaks are cooked to perfection and probably one of the best steaks Ive eaten. The atmosphere is amazing, I love the outdoor dining with live music. Lets not forget the mouth watering blueberry wine. Im not a big wine drinker, but I defintely keep one of these bottles around. Everything about this place is just perfect!

Beautiful Winery right off the Interstate. We decided to stop on our way to Orlando and it was a wonderful experience. Free wine tasting on a beautiful property. We ended up buying two bottles of wine, which are very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this to anyone driving down Interstate 75, stop and take a break, check it out.

Very unique place in a beautiful hidden piece of oxford,fl. They have some very delicious wines and great service. And amazing escape from the normal corporate restaurants. The owner takes great pride in his work. A wonderful date night experience for sure. A must visit for all couples and wine lovers.

Great service, food, atmosphere, and facilities. WOW! I changed my rating from 5 to 4. My dinner was just ok. Bread was supposed to be cooked on site and it was cold. Steak was just ok. We sat outside and we were hounded by flies. Wine is very good as is the blueberry cobbler.

Took the tour yesterday and had lunch for my daughters birthday. Everything was beautiful, everybody is very friendly and helpful. The wine was delicious and our lunch was perfect! The outside eatting area is very welcoming. Looking forward to having dinner there soon.

What a nice surprise! Not 100% sold on blueberry wine but the atmosphere and people more than make up for not finding a traditional winery here. Take the detour and pop in for a taster, its well worth popping off the freeway for.

It was really nice. The steak was great, the sides were good but the wine was awesome. The service was great. My wife and I sat at the table right next to the waterfall,it was perfect. We will be going back.

Blueberry wines, cabernet to port. Far better than I expected. Cabernet was dry and tasty. Limited food but flatbreads are good. Husband and wife owner are very friendly and they grow the blueberries.
