We are here on reciprocity from NY, and everyone from the front desk staff to the wonderful yoga teacher Olga so far have been AMAZING. The front desk was so helpful, made sure we had everything we could need, and this Y actually allows you to use the child care (that has a climbing fun area!!) even on reciprocity. Very rare and awesome. My yoga class I knew would be different in style than anything Ive taken (I mostly have only done vinyasa and bikram-inspired), and it was very cool. Lots of new things with some familiar things. Then, Olga saw I was trying to "find" a certain pose that I feel like Im "this close" to getting, and she asked if I wanted help, and I was thrilled. She stayed extra on her own time to help me find a forearm stand that Ive been struggling to get into. Turns out one of the biggest things holding me back was just the TINIEST placement of my pinky - my pinky!! - that got me 50% of the way there alone. She helped me with the rest, and I found it, and you might think this is silly, but it was transformative. She was a wonderful teacher, everyone at the front desk was warm and inviting. I have to chuckle when people ask "what did you do on vacation" and Ill tell them "I went to the Y!" but between the great classes, pool, and play area, its the perfect place for us to spend the rainy days when the beach is a no-go. The facility is one thing, but the people are amazing.

Pros: -Newer building/ Updated lockerrooms -Great child and senior programs -Wonderful child care -Excellent programs for scuba diving and swimming -Lockerrom:steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and showers Cons: -Only one pool -NO tvs on each machine (a crisis!) -Staff is a hit or miss (Some are nice and others are really mean) -Not enough parking during busy hours -Children and teens sometimes use the adult lockerrooms -Older equipment/ Rusting equipment -No towel or water bottle refill service -Need more room and parking spaces to fulfill their current customers See my other YMCA reviews to see how I compared this YMCA. I am trying to visit as many as possible across our great nation.

I have been going to the Y for four years now having moved from St. Petersburg to Belleair Bluffs. It has a beautiful pool and the whole facility is well run and the employees are always helpful. I do the deep water aerobics on Wednesday mornings with a great instructor who really makes us work hard in the water. There are other classes at 10:30 am in the pool which are always well attended. I swim three times a week. It is a great place to go for morning exercise or anytime really. I just cannot say enough good things about the place. Thanks to all of the staff for all they do.

At first I was very excited to put my son in soccer but then the games started running 15 minutes earlier then we originally signed up for with no notice. Got a paper last week to be at the field an hour early for picture day, get to the field and pictures arent starting until normal game time. Once again I was never notified of the changes. Considering I was required to give a phone number and an email address and cant even be notified of changes for the sport that Im paying for is not good customer service.

COLD PLACE...The water in the pool is too cold even in mid summer. There are only six lanes so only six people can comfortably swim. The facility staff are pleasant but being there is like being in a government building in a communist country. No warmth or friendliness.

Only facility in the area with a whirlpool. Im an away guest from Alabama and the staff has been very helpful and friendly. Would have given it 5 stars had theyre been towel service. But that seems to be the norm for all the Florida Y"s Ive visited.

Excellent classes for kids. Has a nice kids area to have your younger kids play in while you work out. Swimming classes and Tae Kwon Do classes are excellent and affordable. Parking can be a bit tight from time to time.

This place is so nice. The gym is bigger than most others that you will find around Clearwater and the pool is always clean and not overly chlorinated. The staff are very polite as well

I love this place I go Monday through Friday and I feel connected. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I stay over 2 hours so much to do and enjoy for the entire family
