Its very pretty most of the time, but the pool and hot tub are often broken and close at sunset, so you can enjoy the hot tub at night. The hot tub is never hot, just a little warm and makes a loud whistling noise. They allow smoking around the pool, so if youre like me, that just ruins everything. We stayed in the Condos. Heres my review for them: The grounds are very beautiful and we saw many gorgeous birds. However, We were awoken every morning by loud lawn mowers and blowers preparing the gulf course. Then we would open the sliding glass doors to enjoy the nice fresh air, but instead ended up with our condo full of Cigarette Smoke. So we couldnt enjoy breakfast on the balcony because of the cigarette smoke and had to shut up the condo. In the evening it always sounds like a party is going on with lots of people talking and you can smell their cigarette smoke infiltrating, so its not very peaceful. We wanted to enjoy the clubhouse pool, but its often broken. The hot tub isnt hot and makes a loud whistling noise. Plus it closes at sunset so it made it hard for us to get down there in time. If you do try to go late, the security guards come and yell at you. Then when we tried to go to bed we are continually awoken by the sounds of people scraping chairs across the tile floor (like nails on a chalk board).

Played golf here (in September) and it was excellent. Price - booked through Golf Now so got a very good deal of $50 for 2 including taxes/fees etc. Arrival - employee met us beside the car park and took our clubs to put them on a cart. Very friendly overall. Range - very unique experience for us in that you hit balls into a lake with some small island targets. Range grass was in good condition and wasnt overplayed. Course - there are three sets of 9 holes. We played Sanctuary and Tributary which were both very good. Playing off the blue tees Sanctuary was a bit longer than Tributary but the style of both 9s was similar. The course itself was in very good condition. No faults there. Greens - these were good although I struggled with them a bit. They were pretty receptive to shots coming in but struggled to read them so didnt make many putts. Speed was okay, although seemed an awkward speed and Im not convinced they were all the same which made putting a bit tricky. Overall a good experience and would highly recommend.

Moved into the neighborhood a couple of weeks ago with additional visits over the last couple of years, and Im very impressed with the community and staff. A phenomenal place to visit and would highly recommend a visit here. I havent played on the greens nor played tennis yet but the gym and pools are very nice. Food is amazing! Events full on the calendar with room for all ages, genders, and family! Cant say enough about this place as Im very happy to call it home!

Gorgeous course in excellent condition. Semi public course with a private coutry club atmosphere. Bring your A game and your camera as this course is as challenging as it is beautiful. Probably not for beginners or weekend hackers, this is an upscale club geared more towards the serious player. The course itself is comparable to nearby Stoneybrook.

Beautiful course, difficult if you get off the fairways. Generous landing areas for tee shots but tricky going into greens. All 27 holes always in pristine condition. I live at River Strand and have played the course over 150 times and experience different shots every round. Fantastic golf staff and restaurant staff. A++

Private community with affordable single family residences, multi family, and low rise condos overlooking the brackish Manatee River. 9 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, 27 hole Arthur Hills golf course, 2 Club houses, Tiki Bar, and Restaurant to recouporate after a long hard days work enjoying all River Strand has to offer.

I was pleasantly by how nice the course was considering the rain we had earlier in the week. The greens were well trimmed as were the sand bunkers. Very friendly staff and the food from the snack bar was reasonable also. Play in the off season is recommended. The cost is much less.... Enjoy your round!!!

Really a great course to test your skills. Water seem to be present in almost all of the holes. Greens were very undulating and lightning quick. Everyone at the pro shop, club house and rangers were very friendly. A new course in my rotation to play every time I go down to Bradenton from now on.
