i came home tonight to my girlfriend in tears for the way the owner talked to her and her friend. for the woman working at the front counter to tell her boss during this altercation that the two girls are on drugs is ludicrous. funny if you do a little research, the girl working at the front (ashley b) was expelled from west haven high school for having drugs on her. very unprofessional people in this establishment, and by the way this man talked to me on the phone, i wouldnt bring children here. the unfortunate part here is, yes bad words may have been said back and forth, but the proper thing to do is escort the customer out and or call the police to do so. regardless of how the customer acts you can not tell the customer "ill rip you by the hair out of here" thats really unprofessional on his part. and i asked on the phone to him about getting cops involved, he proceeded to say "i know every cop in west haven, they all bowl here". typical west haven unfortunately. and with all the things going on in the exposure world involving police, it doesnt work that way anymore. we all have our fair share of "connections" but for him to say that is also very unprofessional. again, dont bring kids here please. rated M for mature.

Forrest schell- Doing that research means nothing. The girl at the front changed. She doesnt do all that anymore. I know her and shes very smart and changed her life completely around. You cant judge someone by looking them up. It doesnt tell there whole story. People change. She was young and was with the wrong crowd. She doesnt hang with those people anymore and is gonna do very well in the future. So stop saying rude comments. Cause your probably not great yourself. Other than your nonsence, woodlawn is a great place to bowl. The owner makes the bowling fun and wants everyone to be safe. They got decent prices and kids have a great time.

I have been a league bowler here for over 15 years. The owner, Bob, has done an amazing job of maintaining and updating this facility. This alley is known as the first Duckpin alley with automatic pinsetting in Connecticut, operating since 1954. I have had several of my childrens birthday parties here, and they love it! A great time for all who come, a challenge for all who play. Join a league and see for yourself

The staff here is very rude. The manager loudly used foul language with children in the vicinity. There are plenty of other places to bowl in the area that have a friendlier staff and that are more children friendly.
