Had the pleasure of playing two rounds here and was very impressed. The elevation changes, bunkering, and intricacy of the layout make for a challenging experience, but also one that is very fair. I have compared the Club at River Oaks to Sebonac, without the crazy undulations of Sebonacs greens. I would recommend to ANY golf enthusiast a trip to Club at River Oaks if you are looking for a true test of your skills.

Wonderful hidden gem in Western CT. Challenging layout that requires accurate shot making yet fair risk for reward scenarios. Fantastic finishing hole with scenic backdrop. Friendly staff and knowledgeable pro. Looking forward to another round at this club.

Wonderful course in a fantastic setting. It is a quick drive from nyc yet feels like another world. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Greens were im great shape and the course is challenging but fair. Will be coming back.
