Absolutely beautiful, pristine location. Great for hiking and photographing nature. A peaceful and serene outing. USE THE BATHROOM BEFORE HITTING THE TRAILS! Once you head out, there are no facilities within the grounds other than heading back to the education center.

Go here quite often all year round! Gorgeous hiking and great programs for the kids. A birdwatchers paradise. Hike down to Riverbottom road, its lovely. Very peaceful and tranquil in wintertime.

Very helpful staff. Beautiful grounds. We walked around the lake in about an hour. Cool wooden boardwalks through the forest and across the streams. Only an hour from NYC.
