I must start with saying that it very sad how unprofessional, rude, dishonest and moody Ms. Kim Di Ciero is. Whenever calling to speak to her is as if you are disturbing her. My husband and I decided not to book with location due to how RUDE Ms. Kim is. When I asked was there someone else I can deal with or was there a supervisor Ms. Kim stated nope this is her department and thats it. The first conversation was combative due me inquiring about certain stipulations and general questions on the contract. When she would ask questions and I proceeded to answer she immediately began to speak over me and would say " Excuse me Excuse me. I am trying to talk." Whatever question was asked she would respond "Did you read the contract or no?" At this point I am at 9 weeks before my wedding reception. Speaking to Ms.Kim she stated and also on the contract that a $100.00 deposit is needed with a completed signed contracted to book the date. Second conversation was Today 6.27.17( 9 weeks from event) I called and Ms. Kim stated that payment was received. So in asking when can I pay the remainder of the balance she states today because I am at the 8 week mark of my event to where the balance is due. I stated to her that was never discussed when we spoke on 6.20.2017 and I read the contract to its entirety. After speaking with my husband and him listening to how rude Ms. Kim was on speakerphone we decided to not go with this location and told Ms. Kim we decided not to go with this location she stated "thank you" and hung up abruptly. At first we were willing to maneuver through the waves to get our photos done at this location but I will continue to be spoken to rudely, being told otherwise than as per conversation.

Old Westbury Gardens is a beautiful place to visit, especially in June when the rose garden is in full bloom! We visit this place every June. The rose garden is pretty amazing. Many different types of roses, most are "climbing" roses, and most are exceptionally fragrant so the garden smells incredible. In addition to the rose garden there are also many varieties of wildflowers. You can bring your own food or grab something at the Cafe in the Woods. In addition to the gardens you can take a tour of the mansion. From their website: "Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is the former home of John S. Phipps, his wife, Margarita Grace Phipps and their four children. Completed in 1906 by the English designer, George A. Crawley, the magnificent Charles II-style mansion is nestled amid 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds and lakes."

Have spent many lovely afternoons here. The Gardens are wonderful throughout the seasons, but especially so in the Spring when the wisteria is blooming! I wish that they would improve their website and have more high-resolution images of the house and grounds. Also, their social media could be so much better used ... their instagram focuses too much on the visitors and not enough on personifying the brand or high quality "goals" type images that people want to pin/share. + there is ZERO interaction which is a major no-no. Oh and no Pinterest?! No snapchat?! Seriously folks, contact me.

A beautiful mansion surrounded by an equally beautiful garden. This is a great place to go when you feel the need to get away for a bit. You can walk around the mansion on your own but I highly suggest going with a tour guide who are all very knowledgeable. Behind the mansion is where youll find the garden with a wide variety of flowers. There are plenty of places to sit, a path around a lake, picnic tables, and overall, just feel relaxed. Some days you can purchase flowers that they have from the garden so check the website for that and other events they might have.

They have free tours of the mansion - last about 45 min. Or you can wander yourself - they have some notes in each of the rooms with descriptions. The mansion and grounds are kept up very nicely. Theres various different areas - open and grass, wooded and forest-like, as well as a some specifically planted areas like the rose garden, pond, and the paths between them. Theres benches scattered about the gardens so you can sit and just enjoy the serenity. Tons of tree lined lawns to stroll about as well. They have a garden shop and a small cafe as well.

Nothing else like it on Long Island. Beautiful mansion . Exquisite gardens. Wonderful Wednesday night concerts during the summer. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic dinner. Great variety of music all summer. Especially Vince Giordano of Boardwalk Empire fame . He definitely is worth seeing. Its an early night concert starts at 7 and I over by 9. Its a nice break mid week. We go with a group every Wednesday no matter who is there. Everyone bring something different to eat and drink and we share. Its a cheap night out for everyone. And everyone has a great time

Going there is like taking a brief vacaction from the rest of the world. It is also like taking a step back into time. It is peaceful and quiet, and no matter where you look, there is something wonderful to look at. Going at different seasons too, it is different each time you go. It is worth every penny and you can tell that your money is well spent because they lovingly take care of the grounds and the mansion, and have events that are suitable for everyone. You cannot visit Long Island without planning a visit here.

Absolutely stunning, inside and out. This 1907 mansion home to the Phipps family has been carefully curated and maintainsd by a foundation. An indoor tour takes you through public and private rooms, filled with art and vintage furnishings. Outside, the gardens are magnificent. Specimen trees and shrubs, a glorious English garden, and when we visited, an installation of sculptures by Seward Johnson artfully displayed throughout the grounds as well as within the house. My advise: Get there as soon as you can

This garden is amazingly beautiful and well groomed. People in the community are nice and friendly. The view is amazing, the mansion is extremely well kept. We got there in late season, some of the flowers are already withered, but still amazing. The pool and fountain are amazing. Planning to come back in Fall for the night lights. Note the garden can be finished in about 1.5 hours, not an all day event, but there are so many beautiful benches to just sit and enjoy.

We visited the mansion and gardens over Memorial Weekend, on our way to the Hamptons. The property is beautiful and extremely well-kept. We meandered through the gardens on our own but were fortunate to join a tour of the mansion just as it started. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and I enjoyed listening to both the historical facts and his personal favorites about the property. Would definitely recommend stopping by the home, especially in peak bloom seasons.

A nice place to have a picnic and some relaxed time. A lot to walk if u want to c the whole place, its a lot tiring to walk the whole session ... its a mind calming feel when u live and work in NY ;) Better carry water as few water dispensers dont work, and even if they do, its not cold. Only one cafe in the park which is obviously priced on the higher side, so u know what to do. Be sure to visit the Rose Garden and the house.
