We paid 7 bucks per person to look at a couple goats (dont touch) or feed them. Then we got a tour through an old house. Nothing was wrong with the tour, but we were hoping for more homestead museum stuff, instead this is a house full of years of antiques and junk. If you like antiques maybe this is for you. It wasnt what we were looking for. This is mostly an antique show.

Informative tour from a knowledgeable guide about a house and property with a long history in the area. Made a brief side trip while in the Evergreen, CO area when the weather threatened rain. Would have been worth the stop otherwise though.

Loved our tour of Hiwan Homestead Museum. Our docent was very knowledgeable with information about the history and architecture. We had a picnic in the lovely park setting. This is a wonderful preservation of Colorado history.

A wonderful piece of history preserved of a beautifully rustic old home. The tour guide was very friendly and informative about the grounds. A great place to take the younger generation for a bit of history.

Just Love It Here. It is very family oriented and offers great amps and activities throughout the year. It is run mostly by volunteers and is a great place to have a picnic

I live in Evergreen where the Hiwan Museum is located and have enjoyed many visits. Touring the museum is a great way to get a sense of local history.

What a neat little park. While it was a Monday so the museum was closed, it was a lovely little walk around the grounds.

Awesome brunch. Amazing eggs and superb burgers. Expect a wait on weekends, but its worth it.
