RE: Its me. Really? Your car was stolen? I find that highly unbelieveable. Looking at your other complaints, it seems trouble follows you every place you go. You seem like a compulsive liar. Why would you go to 3-4 different Dealer Tires in one year when all of them provided the "Worst service ever!!!!!!!"? Regarding this course, it is amazing. The value is unbeatable when everything is factored in. The new range balls, new carts, amazing practice facility, amazing par 3 course, everything. It could be in a slightly nicer neighborhood, but your car is safe, I guarantee you that. UPDATE: I just contacted the golf shop and "Its me"s story is totally bogus. Unless she never contacted the golf shop, police, or anyone there. Much like the wedding place she trashed and said she had to get her bank involved and they had no knowledge of the situation ever happening. Why do people post false information? And Mr. Park, unless if you have a very good reason for posting this information, you do realize you can be sued for slander by GVR for your statement, dont you? Just because you post it online, it doesnt mean it can say whatever you want it to. Ill alert the staff to your comment so they can look into it and see if theres any truth to it. My guess is you expected a $1,000 membership to play whenever you wanted to and it was only a twilight membership. You got mad when they wouldnt let you play before the twilight times began and now are posting that they lied to you when its you who didnt understand what you were signing.

GVR was the best course Ive played all summer (Ive posted reviews of most of the places Ive played thus far). I played it the week before the Colorado Open and WOW, what an incredible test. The greens rolled like glass and were as receptive as a gym floor. Nothing was "unfair" or too difficult, but shot-making was definitely at a premium. I like the layout, but found the cottonwoods in the middle of the fairways to get a little annoying. Its one thing to layup on a par 4 and then hit a short club into the green, but theres a lot of holes that require 8-iron/PW combos to keep yourself back far enough to hit over the trees. The practice facilities are very impressive. Not just the titleist range balls, but the numerous practice greens that are all in immaculate shape. The natural areas and bunkers are beautiful. If only this course was closer to the mountains than the airport . . . Ill definitely be back!

I am a member who will not re-sign with GVR due to their marketing scheme, incompetent and liars. Course is great, fairways are good and practicing facility is awesome. Pace of play on weekends is 5 hours because they sell $30 rounds on golfnow, rounds took sometimes 5 1/2 hours. Greens are very bumpy and get a 4/10 except around the time of the open they are a 10/10. Dont expect a good putt to roll in! Would never recommend GVR as a membership, look elsewhere because they will promise you alot only to leave you dry. Alot of members from GVR are leaving, dont go thru the experience and save yourself from wasting time and headaches. My personal friends car was stolen there, I played the round with him to find his car not there, and yes the police did come. I WAS A FULL MEMBER, NOT A [email protected] SUE ME.

Id hate to write a bad review and I usually dont. However, my experience with GVR academy was horrible. I signed up to become a preferred member even though I live in Thornton, CO. I was planning on using my complimentary 30 min lesson and i scheduled one at 10am. I arrived early at 930 just so I can give the coaching staff a chance to get set, and I was told to wait and warm up hitting a few balls. 30 mins pass and the assistant told me my coach was in a meeting and was going to be a little late. OK, thats fine ill wait another 5-10 mins even though the time is 10am, my scheduled time. Another 30 mins pass...Cool, let me make an appointment three days in advance and drive from Thornton to get there EARLY just so I can coach myself for 30 mins. People on here are right, course is great, staff thinks were on THEIR time.

Course is nice but the people are not. I have played here several times and it seems that you have to be a jerk to play this course. Even when keeping good game pace, other players that act like they own the place will harass you from behind yelling "pick it up" or hit their ball into you when its obvious there are players ahead of us that "we" are waiting on. This has occurred every time Ive played here which leads me to believe this is just a jerks preferred course. The vibe is also very uptight and the starters could be nicer too and drop the attitude. GVR is a public course and not a private club. I play Omni Interlocken weekly and have never experienced what I always seem to experience at GVR.

Amazing experience - course condition, pace of play, practice facility, and friendliness of the staff all made our round worth every penny. I took one star off because, despite the great condition of 90% of the course, the putting greens were disappointing to say the least - the grass is in good shape but they are all so full of bumps that even quality putts turn into a gamble, which is understandable at a muni course, but at this price the greens should be better taken care of (which could mostly be prevented if people just fixed their divots YSFs).

I just swung into this place to hit some balls on the driving range to kill some time on a weekend while I was in town for business. Unfortunately, my solid color t-shirt was not appropriate, and they requested that I get a collared shirt, just to use their driving range. Id expect that if I was going to play on the course, but I think this place may be way to stuffy if you cant get a bucket of balls for the driving range without a collared shirt. Calm down a little. This isnt Augusta.

Enjoyable course with a tendency to get a bit windy on the back nine. Great practice facilities. I only played here once, given the distance from Denver, but I found the course to pose a couple challenges yet afford the golf some shot making opportunities.

GVR is fun and quite challenging. No matter how well i am playing holes 16-18 trip me up. Front is wide open and good for scoring but the back is quite different. Course condition is great, greens are fast which i like.

Awesome course with nice layout. Greens were quick and pace of play was fair. Best of all the staff was excellent. Accidentally left my watch and they held it for me.

One of my favorite courses in the greater Denver area. Excellent greens/fairways and a great practice facility as well.

Friendly and efficient staff in the bar. Wi-Fi needs a boost for the Open crowd and electronic scoring updates.
