I would love to give a 5 Star review and the only reason I am not is the fact that although the course was in great shape for early April, the course conditions certainly werent good enough to be charged 70 dollars to play on. I do not not mind paying for higher priced Greens Fees, but I would like to course to be in better shape. Having said that, I will say that the Greens were in fantastic shape! Very smooth and the ball rolled perfectly. At one point around hole 7 or so the Ranger came by and pretty much yelled at us telling us to hurry up and to play faster. I didnt really appreciate being yelled at, but I couldnt understand what he was talking about. We were on the the Green, the group ahead of us were still teeing off and the group behind us was 2 holes back. I just think he could have been a bit more polite and paid more attention to the Groups that may have needed to speed up. Other then those 2 minor complaints I had a great time playing this Course. It had been about 7 years since I had played Saddle Rock and after playing here it certainly wont take me another 7 years to come back! What a great track!

Our group does an annual Colorado Golf Binge. We ended our 6 days of golf by playing Saddle Rock before flying out of DIA. Frankly we played here because all other DIA area courses were busy with Friday AM tourneys on Aug 23, 2013. Well, Saddle Rock turned out to be the perfect choice for our group as wed been beaten up by some ot the tough mountain courses during this week and were in need of a ego-correction. Saddle Rock front nine begins with wide fairways and large receptive greens.....just what we needed. It becomes much tougher as we played the back nine through lowlands, meadows and large cottonwood trees. Id say the best feature at Saddle Rock is their near perfect greens. Wed been warned the course tends to be very windy but the morning we played it the weather was warm and calm. Ideal for scoring and for recovering ones psyche.

I played Saddle Rock on 8/7/2013 and it was in beautiful shape! The greens were rolling fast and true. Soft enough to hold a very well struck shot, but a poorly played shot could easily roll off of the back. Everything was green and looked great - its been a great summer for Denver-area golf courses. I was most impressed with the number of uphill shots you face on this course, especially the front nine. Along with the uphill approaches, I was also impressed with the number of greens that pushed your ball off of the back - this is not a course with big backboards to hold bad shots. I liked the variety and the challenge. $38 for twilight is a very fair deal. I will be back to get my revenge against Hole 10.

I liked that it was clean and very well kept. However the staff seemed kind of snobby, they let us borrow some clubs to use at the driving range. Then later when someone else was at the shop counter he reacted to us as if we stole the clubs or something. " borrowed?" he said "ill just take those from you" with a tone that made me feel embarrassed inside. It says open to the public, but, dont come here unless you have your own clubs, golf attire, and golf experience, bc you will be treated like 2nd class citizens. And its painfully obvious. ***came back to change the stars down to 2, they really embarrassed me.

Whoever runs the store there refused to sell me two tokens to the driving range at 7:40pm saying they were closed despite the hours stating they close at 8pm. I should mention the doors were already locked. There were atleast 10 people still on the range with full buckets of balls. Ive actually bought tokens at the same time before and it been a non issue. Since they dont want my money Ill be taking it elsewhere. Its unfortunate because I live beside the course and had been spending about $60- $80 a week there.

Course was in good shape and very tough. However, the staff there was anything but friendly. The marshal was very pushy and was constantly bugging our foursome to speed up play even though there were no groups in front or behind us. He wasnt pleased that we stopped for lunch after 9 holes without consenting him to restart, despite the course not being busy. I would rather spend my money else where and be treated like an adult than a little kid. I would play elsewhere with so many options in the Denver area.

What a great course!! They hosted our churchs nine hole mens league and I was amazed at what fantastic condition the course was in!! Everyone was super friendly and this course far exceeded some of the supposed "premier courses" that we have played. I will be back for sure!! I may make this my new home course!! Thank you guys!!! Great job!!!

I would like to personally thank the marshal for speeding up the slow groups, no matter how busy the course is, and for letting anybody who stops for lunch after nine holes and then jumps back on course without consent, that they should probably stick with the driving ranges and leave the course to the real golfers

Overall, the course is well maintained but its very challenging because the rough is so long. I shot one of the worst scores of my life the 1st time I played here.
