We have been coming to this course for years and sometimes 2-3 times a week to golf and get drinks. It pains me to say that since its transition to Walnut Creek from Heritage it has really gone down hill, which is sad. The kitchen is nothing short of pathetically slow- although to be fair, the food is pretty good if youre willing to wait 40 minutes for a wrap. The greens are absolutely atrocious. They are as hard as a rock and wildly inconsistent. The course itself isnt in bad shape although its not in particularly good shape. Additionally on the weekends there is no Marshal to keep the pace of play and it has gotten truly terrible. We were there on Sunday and it was horribly slow. The group behind us called the clubhouse on the 6th hole to advise of the groups in front of us that had almost 2 holes between them and the group in front of them. They were met with a curt response and felt like they were bothering the shop. It wasnt until hole 15 that someone came out and it was still very slow. We also encountered a large tractor that needed to mow the native grass down around the tee box on the 3rd hole at 10:45am on a Sunday. This couldnt have waited until Monday? The staff is generally friendly and I would say that Alex in the pro shop is top notch as well as Megan in the bar/on the cart. We were downright loyal to this course and spent a lot of money here but due to recent changes have realized that there are plenty of other courses in the area that are in significantly better shape with better greens, better pace, better kitchens and just an overall better experience. I truly hope Walnut Creek can fix some of the glaring issues they have as we would love to come back.

Company golf tournament here. Bad time of year to play this course that was in bad shape already. start of the back is essentially a swamp. bring your irrigation boots to play that set because this place is flooded. also greens were SUPER unpredictable from hole to hole. some people will say thats one of the challenges and i would reply the only challenged entity involved is the guy laying the inconsistent amounts of sand on every single green. prices are a bit laughable for a course of this caliber as well. The older folks on the staff really know how to treat and respect people but NONE of the other staff has any business being in a customer facing role.

Just a fantastic course in top shape due to the high level of golf they have to prepare the course for people better than me LOL (a lot of qualifying goes on there)....Greens are FUN. To match, the staff when you arrive makes it like you boarded a plane to somewhere top notch. Big like at reasonable price..

Heritage Golf Course is a hidden gem in CO. It is a difficult track that is always in great shape. The staff keeps this course in top notch for much of the year and I play here 2 or 3 times a week. Always great deals on golf and great staff! 5 out of 5 stars! Im contemplating becoming a annual pass member.

Course is in great shape. Usually moves pretty well. A couple great holes (13, 3, 5,). I love the atmosphere; relaxed but respectful. Food is so/so. Id recommend it to anyone, probably the best bang for ur buck Ive played anywhere.

Course is in great shape, staff is overworked and it shows. The grill is not worth the time.teice we have visited during the week and been told simply they dont have any food. Nothing. How do you run a restaurant without food.

Top notch municipal course. Open layout with beautiful mountain views. Well kept and the back nine is well drained and without trees so you can get 12 months of golf here.

Friendly & helpful staff. Driving range, chipping and putting practice are my favorite. As a semi beginner-intermediate player somewhat a challenging course for me.

The course is in fantastic shape but youll want to keep it on the short grass. The rough is penal. A good challenge for any handicap if you choose the right tees.

The bar has pretty cheap beer and you are helped by really friendly staff. I dont even golf, but come to the bar for a drink after work on occasion.

Great layout, challenging holes, wide open spaces, a good test. Can be tough to walk 18 so consider a cart, especially for the back 9.
