Nickel a Play is BAD ASS. Now, that being said, a few caveats... I always tell people that this place isnt a NICE time, its a GOOD time. A lot of the machines are out of order and the Skee Ball...how to put this...I had never seen Skee Balls that were so old that they were wearing down, literally eroding from use and the Skeeball lanes look like they have cancer so its not really a good litmus test for your skills as a player since its pretty much like playing a Tim Burton hallway version of Skee Ball. Aside from that though this place rocks. The ticket payout is great on machines that give ticket rewards. Unlike Dave and Busters where you spend $150.00 to get a half a Laffy Taffy, this place pays out ok and is fun while doing it. Worth it all the way!

I had my sons 4th birthday party here, the whole experience was awesome and well worth the money, had a party for 10 kids which included a bag of nickles, party hats, soda, and pizza. I was expecting frozen pizzas lol but they brought over Dominos at the exact time I requested it. The whole staff was great, we had a teenage kid (Caleb?) as our party host and he was really great with the kiddos which was awesome! All the parents played games with their kids and the whole time we were there we had so much fun! Definitely recommend and definitely will do it again next year! Thank you for your friendly service and extremely reasonable pricing.

This place has a large selection of games from many generations. All age groups can have fun here. Although, keep in mind its an arcade full of kids. Deffinitely doesnt have much appeal for adults, besides the old school free games. And speaking of "free" games, you also have to pay a cover just to access the arcade. Which is cool if you want to play the older classic games, but its frustrating if you want to stick with the pay to play games. Either way its not an expensive place. Overall its fun, fairly clean, and has a pretty good selection of games. If you like arcades its definitely worth a visit.

Its really fun and even the games that dont give you tickets are fare because there free to play. Speaking of tickets there put in 2s so yeah. And the prizes are real good price (of tickets) and there actually good prizes. And all you pay in is nickels for the games that need nickles, its 3.75 to enter and 5 Dollars gets you a hundred nickles and just with that you there for about 2hours. And every day theres something special on a list but I wont tell you that and you will just have to see for your self. ( Thanks for reading this Im sorry its so long but I had to wright about all this good stuff)

Theyve really improved their games and operation quite a bit in the year or two its been since I was last there. I would say better than 95% of the stuff there was in good working condition, even if it looked a little on the rough side. The thing that was nice is, have you ever wanted to use the stuffed-animal machine until you were sick of it? Here, you can, and not lose your wallet. Its quite nice. The videogames are totally free, and only that which costs tickets, costs nickels. Nightly specials during the week... overall a really good place.

Took granddaughter for her birthday, will not be doing it again. Place was dirty, very unsanitary, the games needed to be cleaned, half of them didnt work and some of the ones that did work didnt give out the correct tickets, and the 2 fellows working were anything but excited about being there. Would deffinately not recommend if a child has issues with immune disorders. Yes it may be a nickel to play but will pay the extra next time for fun, happiness and most importantly cleanliness!!!

Love this place, cheap admission, and plenty of free games to keep you going until you break down and but a few more nickel bags. I was happy to see that the old Battle Toads cabinet was there, many, many hours were sunk into that game playing through it multiple times... My only complaint is going there just made me miss the days of going to the Colorado Springs location with my friends on weekends to blow our allowances and see who could get the most tickets.

One of our favourite places to go! They have arcade style games that distribute tickets, and each of those take about 1-6 nickels. They also have old arcade games from as far back as the 80s that are all free! A lot of the free games have malfunctions like a button doesnt work or multiplayer mode isnt possible since its joystick doesnt respond. But who cares--free games! Excellent place to take your kids, and they host birthday parties.

I havent been there lately but a while ago I went there and it was amazing!!!! Great prices at like 1 fifth of normal arcades just remember that it gets really boring as a party so just go there with a few friends or family . Idk if they still have free games but I remember last time I went they did so thats cool. Im begging to go!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a ton of fun! Not just for kids either, they have alot of oldskool arcade games from the 90s even earlier games like pac man, tetris, galagga and theyre all free with the admission price. Tuesdays are 2 for 1 admission. normal admission price is $3.50. The staff is super nice and chill. Great place for kids or a date.

This place is dope. Cheap to get in, most of the games are free and the rest of the games take nickels. Lots of really old games that are super fun and a few somewhat newer games, lots of games I havent seen since I was a kid. Couple pinball machines. Great place to take some kids and spend a few hours. We will be back.

What a dump!!!!! It is literally 90+ degrees in there ALL the time. Lots of games and a good deal for a nickel however, I cant believe the excessive hear in there is to building code. Because of the heat ask you can smell its sweat and feet We left after about 15, we were light headed from being so hot

This place had a few fun games, and by a few I mean 2. They had so many prizes, they had plushes, candy, small rubber toys, and even fidget spinners. The people just werent very nice and there were lots of little kids running around and yelling though, that is the only reason I rated this place a 3 star.

I love bringing my 2 boys to nickel-a-play! Its a little bit of a drive from Englewood, and a lot of the games are old and breaking... but Ive been going to nickel-a-play for years and years and years. Inexpensive and a great place to have some fun with the kiddos playing some cool retro games.

Hard to beat the price for a few hours of entertainment especially if you have younger kids. I enjoy retro games but this place has more "ticket dispensing" machines than old school retro games. As an adult its worth an hour and $20. As a kid I could spend a few hours here.
