The bartenders, the hostess, and waitress were all lovely individuals. When my friends and I came here last night the entertainment was amazing, but what was unacceptable was the aggressive security member and belittling manager. We were sitting at a table in which a waitress asked us to move for safety reasons and to make her job easier so she can weave through the crowed room. Totally understandable and we did that without complaint. What was baffling was after a few minutes was having one of the members from security walk up to the table and start aggressively demanding, without preamble, that the tables be moved again and state "it was not the waitress job to tell you to move the tables". Obviously, there are some tensions and no comnunication that is going on between staff members that are being expressed on the floor and being projected onto customers. Unfortunately, one of the members of our group did get extremely drunk and as I am guiding her to the door to get her card and just take her out of the place I have the same aggressive staff member start yelling at us we need to leave. I stated calmly that we are and I understand her condition requires us to go, but I still need to grab her card from the bartender. The staff member would not let us grab it. He turned it into a scene in which he refused us the opportunity to close out a tab. When I finally managed to get the staff member out of my face and have my friend situated outside I asked to see the manager. I explained the situation in which I agreed with the decision that my friend needed to leave the bar, but I had issues with the fact we were denied the opportunity to close out her tab and that while I was being complacent and doing exactly what the staff member asked he still choose to tell in my face about my friend and how we couldnt get her credit card. The managers response was to attempt to not deal with me directly and make remarks that were meant to make my friend agitated, and to make blatant excuses for the staff member that blamed me for following directions. Unacceptable.

It was our first time coming here and we did not like it at all. First of Im mexican and my husband is black so as soon as we get to the entrance the security guard ask to see my husbands tattoos which are clearly visible. He has the nerve to ask do u have any area codes tattooed on him we told him does it look like he has any on him the security said its standard procedure I have to check and ask. Well then the rest of our party came in and I asked my best friends husband if they did the same to him and he said no. He clearly has a big tattoo on his arm so is it because he is mexican and my husband is black? Makes u wonder. Now I approached the man at the entrance and asked for his name he said for what I told him I would like ur name because I am going to speak with ur supervisor. The receptionist called the supervisor. As Im speaking to the supervisor I told him we felt as if his security guard was unprofessional and why did he look at and question the tattoos on my husbands body but did not even bother to look at my best friends husbands tattoos. The supervisor did not respond with any answers instead another employee got involved and this man was white and even had the nerve to say no u cant see any of the tattoos on ur arms like what are u serious. Clearly they have no control over their employees because if Im speaking to the "supervisor" and another employer gets involved why didnt he say anything why didnt he try to resolve the problem why did he just stand their like he was lost and did not know how to be a suoervisor?? Makes me so angry but never again will I come here they are a joke. I will not be contacting anyone from this facility as they are a joke. If the supervisor could not help me and was letting the employees speak for him what difference would it make if I spoke to the owner. I will spend my good earned money elsewhere.

Like many other reviews, I had an awful experience here as well. I walked up to the door and presented my ID which I dont mind at all in my mid 30s! The bouncer at the front door immediately said he couldnt let me in because of my tattoos. This is without even inspecting them. Another bouncer with a green mohawk (and full sleeves of tattoos) came over and the two bouncers lifted up my sleeves and shirt to take a "close look" at my tattoos. There I stood, being belittled by a couple of door guys and being asked to explain my tattoos. I love how its "treat them like a criminal unless they prove otherwise" here. Its disgusting. I hold an MBA from an Ivy League school and work a great job while supporting my family... All to be ridiculed by a couple of $12 hour door guys covered in tattoos themselves....? I was originally denied because I have a biblical verse tattooed on my arm. They blatantly discriminate against people of certain religions apparently because one bouncer said it could be taken offensively. Wtf? After 7 minutes of debating whether or not my skin was worthy of entering this establishment, the two bouncers agreed that I would be allowed in. The door staff finds a twisted pleasure in belittling those with tattoos and are deeply undertrained to spot a gang tattoo. The manager, Matt Milliski, offered an empty apology and said his staff did the right thing. I dont know how they keep this man employed as a general manager when he clearly doesnt understand the importance of having a staff TRAINED to do the job they are supposed to do. Hopefully someone sues for religious or racial discrimination soon and they can get what they deserve. Until then, avoid this poorly run establishment and visit a Howl that takes pride in its hospitality (basically any one except this one).

Admittedly we came here on a holiday evening (it was still a Saturday Night), door staff/security were inhospitable and downright rude. Drinks outrageously overpriced (and I live in a tourist town/mecca). Server staff were good, washroom attendant was exceptional. Band was ok (some band members were much better than others). We stayed 2 hours and not one request was played by the Dueling Pianos, this was more of a cover band jam session - which on its own would have been fine, but they are advertising this place as a dueling piano bar (and taking our $ and requests). I would not have had an issue with this if it was maybe 30 minutes of jam session interlude, but after 2 hours (a full cover charge for each of us, with no notice that its not dueling pianos tonight) and 2x $35 buckets full of ice and a few splashes of bottom shelf booze, we gave up and left. Our server must have had some pity on us after taking our request and $ to the queue, as they gave us some free admission passes in case we ever decide to return. Enter with caution.

AWFUL. AWFUL!!! The general manager is a condescending jerk! Paid $175 for a table for 6. He ruined my daughters 21st birthday. We drove from San Diego to have this experience and it was the worst birthday ever. He looked like he was high, refused to give us a refund after not having enough seating for our small party. Why anyone would hire this guy to manage a bar is beyond me! His customer service skills are atrocious! Our evening was based around this place, NEVER AGAIN! Even the sheriff deputies were perplexed at this guy! Yes the sheriffs became involved because he refused to properly accommodate our party, and refused to refund our payment even though we received nothing for the $175 cover charge! Nasty attitude unless you are dressed like a skank! Our jump the line passes were out of the question and we were told to wait, even though corporate instructed me to not wait in the line! What a joke, shame on all of you!!!
