Second hiking trail i`ve hiked so far. It was pretty nice to see the cliff after you hike down. I suggest turning around and going backwards instead of taking the big road. As you come around the water you will see houses and a final view of the pond from a good point. From there, the big road leads to the closed off metal gate at the parking lot.

Great afternoon walk with family, ranging in age from 22 months to 71 years. 2 miles of country trail with wonderful views of the pond and the cliffs above, followed by a delicious early dinner at Scallywags.
