There are lots to be said but to avoid ruining the experience for others that may go i have generalized my feeback intentionally. This review has been slightly edited in light of being accused by the owner as being associated with a competitor, of which I am not. This is my second escape room I have been to (my first was in Marysville, CA) and I love the escape room idea. This venue, however, was a huge disappointment. First and foremost, dont have your employees ask for a 5 rating on Google so they can get a bonus. That was really unprofessional and tastless which reflected the overall experience. Overall, the theme is not well done. At no point did I feel immersed in the theme they intended. There were some puzzles that were unique but the they way over used the same types of puzzles too much. Things only really connected in the first half of the experience and the second half will leave you feeling let down, unnecessarily chaotic, and as though they ran out of ideas so they just reused the same type of puzzle over and over and over. Most of their puzzles are disconnected from their storyline and theme. The environment, lighting, and sound are low quality. The staff is unprofessional and very condescending. The curb side appeal of the place is really poor and reflects the experience we had.

Having done most of the escape rooms in sacramento area I have to say this one was one of the best. The way they separate the team and forced communication was really unique to the area. The puzzles were difficult but not over the top and the different styles to them suited different peoples skill set in our group so everyone felt pretty involve. The use of technology was well done and while not the largest room Ive been it it felt open enough that we werent bumping into each other. The biggest tip I can give you is to communicate and help each other right from the beginning. While we ran out of time on the very last number of the very last clue I am more than sure if we had communicated and helped each other more right from the start we would have gotten out with about 5 to 10 minutes to spare. That about covers the room but the thing that set this place above some others was our host. Michael was absolutely awesome. We were early so he got our brains working right away with riddles and jokes. He was super attentive to us and very helpful when we asked for a clue. Michael is a real big reason this place will go far! Overall, tons of fun and worth the price of admission. Bonus value if you get the groupon going on right now.

I did the Torture Chamber room with a group of 8 family members. This was our third escape room as a group and probably the most challenging so far. Our host gave us two clues. He was very prompt when we needed clues, and his clues didnt ruin the challenge at hand. Happy to report that we made it out with around 13 minutes to spare! Would recommend to anyone looking for a very engaging and enjoyable way to spend an hour.

The experience that this place has to offer was absolutely horrible. The worker was corny with horrible jokes. He constantly asked for us to rate them on here just to receive a bonus. Not only is this unprofessional but it was extremely annoying. He seemed to be flirting with one of the members of the group making sexual comments at her. This is one place I will not be returning at all.

I loved this place! They were exciting and interesting. It was a shame they got shut down for a little while, but I just got a Facebook notice stating they were opening back up again 9/2016 with a new room. My friends and I are really excited. We loved the Torture Chamber and we hope we love the Conspiracy Theory room too.

I went into the torture chamber room. Team work and communication skills are definitely required if you want to escape the room in time. I had so much fun with my friends! We were going to do the Conspiracy Theory room after, but it as booked. We will definitely be back to escape that one next.

Michael was a real one. Me and my group had a blast and it was really steezy. Im definitely gonna come back and hopefully Michael is there cause hes cool as beans which are super cool. I like beans. 10/10 would come again like I said before so yea Im coming again. 5/5

Out of all the escape rooms our team has done in Sacramento, this was by far the most fun in terms of concept and theme. Its different from all of the others ones weve tried so far and Michael was very accommodating. Cant wait for the Conspiracy rooms to come out!

This would have been more fun if we were with people who had not done it before. They thought they New everything and ruined the fun for the rest of us. When making reservations they should ask that question so they can be paired with someone of the same like .

Had an awesome time here! The dynamic of being split into two groups and using communication is great. Michael did a great job as host and had some riddles for us to warm up with before our game. Highly recommend checking this place out!

(Daddy Derek) aka Mikey went above and beyond the call of duty. The Kool Kids Klub had a great time in the torture chamber at 11pm in a back street with a creepy Irish guy. Give the man a raise and let him perfect the 3rd room!

We went as a group of nine and we had the best time ever! Everyone enjoyed the challenge and were looking forward to going back again even though we drove all the way from Santa Rosa, CA. It was well worth the drive.

I loved this place. My game master Janell was really funny. The puzzles were challenging, but still made sense and were solvable with some extra brain power. Ill definitely be back for their next room when it opens.
