We have been there 11 times over this summer. My kids have been on the slide creek falls a 100 times. Yesterday, I was told that they were no longer allowed to ride it because they could not reach the handles on the tub? The previous times ALL the life guards had let her turn the tubes around to reach the handles? When I contacted the general manager to ask why this changed and where it was written that the tube has to be facing a certain direction? He said that the previous life guards was putting my childs lives in danger by not following the rules. He became irate when I point out that the sign on the great white shark was wrong. my girls are 42 inches tall ( i made sure of it before we came) the sign is on a hill so it is very deceiving . He argued that he measured that and it WAS correct! I also want to point out the 7 loose steps and the loose railing on the Blue Thunder/White Lightning ride . On slide hasnt been running all summer along with Bombs away and Barracuda Blaster they have only been open 2 times out of the 11 we have been there. Not to mention the garbage that is everywhere! Under the slides and behind the cabanas ....he didnt like anything I said then proceeded to (The BEST part of the whole conversation) say to me "I dont know what the F*** you want me to do for you lady" . That is when I walked away and said he is a joke of a GM......2 other women saw this whole interaction. If he is the GM of all 3 parks in California like he said he should know the bathrooms are gross and the food serves sucks! the small snack bars has never been open. And some of employees the 6 or so I talked to dont like him!!

This park is very poorly managed. Staff was distracted (at best), causing the slide lines to be unacceptably slow. 30 to 40 minute waits for some of the less popular slides is ridiculous. Lines for the better slides were too long. Also, they showed no concern whatsoever for line cutters. Several rides/attractions were not properly functional. On one of the last Saturdays of the summer before school starts, you would think the park would have been prepared for a decent crowd. Based on the amount of parking still available in mid-afternoon as well as the length of the lines at the slides and concession stands, I dont believe the park was anywhere near full capacity. Unfortunately, the park only seemed prepared to handle a mid-week, winter day. With only a dozen people ahead of us in one of the few open concession lines, we should not have had to wait over 45 minutes to order food. They were out of cheese, so no cheeseburgers. The bathrooms were filthy. The net: this was the wrong place to take four 10-year-olds for a birthday party. While they still had fun playing in the wave pool most of the day, I could have taken them to the local miniature golf where they could have ridden the slides all day for less than half the price. We tried Raging Waters about 7 or 8 years ago with a similar experience hoping the park would be much improved. We wont waste our money or time for a third visit.

We bought a season pass and went for the first time in the beginning of summer, the park wasnt well maintained and the colors on all the rides were dull, the food there tasted really bad and hard and they were low on equipment *boats and donuts* for the rides, but we thought it might be because they had just opened and decided not to harshly judge them based on that one experience. We gave them another chance and went again in the middle of summer and were let down for the park being the same as how we left it but a little worse. Some rides were closed for the whole day for no explanation, the staff were extremely rude and the food was uncooked and served raw! horrible water park with little rides. their motto is "northern Californias largest water park" more like Northern Californias trashiest water park if you ask me. I suggest you spend you money else where or even try their Sacramento park, we have yet to try that one.

I have been going here for more that 5 years, and every year it was a very pleasing waterpark, but this year its different. About 3 weeks into this years season, the rides barracuda blaster, and bombs away were closed along with the slides at little dippers. We thought that they would be open by the next time we went, but it got worse. Those were still closed and the water at the top section where you slide down the closed slides at Little Dipper was green and moldy. Slide creek falls was closed. And white thunder and blue lightning was closed. The Pirates cove pirate bucket that throws water down on the people was not operating. They closed the slide at the activity pool at 3:00 pm when the park closed at 6:00 pm. I guess Im gonna purchase season passes for great America next year. #disapointed

Listen, I get health and safety but they take it to an absurd level which took the fun completely out of the experience for me. At most water slides you have to wait until the person in front of you completely finishes the ride and exits the pool. This is completely unnecessary in my opinion. It takes a long time and causes unnecessarily long lines. No one wants to stand in line for 20 minutes for a 15 second slide. The slides are not that exciting to justify the long wait. Their excuse was "they dont have enough life guards on duty". Well then hire more! I feel that they are behaving too much like a company instead of an enjoyable family outing which is what they are supposed to be. They will not be seeing me again. Rant over.

The most popular attraction here is the Food line. People spent an hour in line to order a slice of pizza or a burger at a premium price. Cant they afford a few more part time high school students at $20/hour to reduce the line?!?! Of course they could. But given there are NOT too many other attractions and eating areas, the best way to waste your time is to have you stand in line for food so that you leave the park thinking you could spend a whole day and still not done too many slides. Then you would come back again. (You are not allowed to bring any in). I guess if you love standing under the sun for one hour with no cover, then Raging Waters San Jose is the best place for you.
