This was my first experience conducting training here. The venue itself is run down and in disrepair. The upholstery on the chairs was threadbare; the carpet is filthy, has lumps, and areas where it is fraying; there were broken curtain rods with sagging drapes; chandeliers in need of replacement or repair with burnt out lightbulbs; paint was peeling off of the walls; and there was a single service restroom for my entire class of 24 people. The food at the venue was above average. The worst part was that in spite of my company having had a long standing relationship with this venue for training, they booted my class out of the room we were in after the first day to accommodate a larger party. The net result was a significantly lowered experience for my students. Many were late because they could not find the new room. The venue manager was indifferent. I will not be using this venue again... ever.

I was lucky enough to attend a absolutely lovely wedding here. The height and detail of the ceiling really contributed to the sense of grandness and occasion, without making the event feel too stiff,. The staff seemed very professional. Unfortunately there were a few issues with the AV equipment including a dim, only semi-visible slideshow and a somewhat inaudible ceremony (understandable given the dimensions of the room).
