If you are looking for a fun place to enjoy a round with your friends, well... Look somewhere else. Out of the hundreds of rounds that I have been fortunate enough to have played across San Diego, I have never witnessed a less accommodating atmosphere. On more then one occasion i have seen the pro shop attendant hang up on a caller, toss money at people and give nothing but one liner comments to kind, inquiring customers. In this down economy, those working in the golf industry must understand the need of TOP customer service. At Presidio Hills, they must not need customers, since they do not value any of them.

I have taken my grand kids here because it was close. But will never again they are very rude in the shop. Charge too much and it is the worst maintained course I have ever played on. The fair ways are just weeds when it rains and dirt most of the time. The greens are full of bare spots and not worth trying to putt on.

Somewhat mismanaged. I learned to play there so I love it no matter what. Ten or 12 years ago, they used to hold the junior championships there. All the big players have played it. Woods, Mickelson and so on. It holds an awful lot of golf history.

You have a cat you get 5 stars. Sorry but I have a soft spot for cats. They deserve our absolute and undivided attention. May you be worshipped like you were in Egypt. I stopped by for the Historical Marker.

Basically youll be practicing your pitching and chipping. For what it is, its not bad. But it barely qualifies as golf. Probably ideal for kids or for just an hour of goofing off with golf clubs.
