My husband and I golf and use the driving range often since we live close by. In addition, weve planned a few golf tournaments and organized catered meetings here as well. The golf course and facilities are well maintained and beautiful. So when our daughter got engaged and we started looking at wedding venues, Sierra Lakes was a natural choice. My husband and I stopped by without an appointment and the manager was very accommodating; we loved the facilities and she gave us a pricing/informational package. We looked at a number of other venues as well, but Sierra Lakes was one of our top three. We were really leaning towards this venue due to the convenience to our home. However, when I visited with our daughter to get her input and finalize from the top three, we met with another young lady and ended up leaving Sierra Lakes very disillusioned. The young lady gave us a tour, answered questions, and took us back to the office to finalize catering pricing based on our guest list and look at the contract. When we were talking about detailed pricing for specific items, the lady began to heavily push a floral designer and lighting specialist on us; we felt very uncomfortable and she later told us that the floral business is her own and the lighting company are "good friends of hers." We were feeling disappointed and confused, so we decided to gracefully exit the meeting by thanking the lady for her time and telling her we were considering other venues. Then she strongly suggested another venue (Padua Hills) to consider. We left the venue with a really bad opinion of the Sierra Lakes representative, who could have potentially be handling our daughters wedding!! Bottom line--They missed out on the opportunity to host a beautiful and memorable wedding event...And most likely future civic and private golfing/catering opportunities from our familys affiliations. We havent been back since!!

Have played the course several times in the past, mostly in shotgun tournaments of scrambles or stroke play events. The course layout is very fun with some water in play on a few holes. The condition of the course last Saturday (8/27) was excellent, with smooth rolling greens and very nice fairways to hit from. The driving range is nice with both mats and grass hitting areas. As usual for late summer the heat last Saturday was oppressive with temps above 100F making play a struggle if you couldnt stay cool and well hydrated. The course puts cold water stations at some of the tee boxes which is a help, and the refreshment cart comes by a couple times a round. Except for the summer heat and the long drive I really like playing this course and think its an excellent golfing value for the money.

Play this course often. Best conditioned around the Inland Empire for the price I think (also see Goose Creek). Layout is pretty easy, but decent variety. Not a whole lot of trouble if you keep it reasonably straight. Forced carries only on a couple par 3s. Greens are in good shape, fair speeds, nothing crazy as far as breaks go. Only real issue is pace of play in the mornings. Pretty slow usually as they load the course up with tee times every 7-8 mins. As usual with any course, never seen marshall even speak with slow groups, tho they do ride around occasionally. Otherwise staff is fine, starter keeps things organized and moving. Would recommend pretty highly in this area.

I made reservations a week in advance for Sunday brunch with my family (8 of us) at Sierra Lakes Golf Course -- and were told that we could not be seated in the main area because ALL tables were reserved; yet I counted 13 open tables!! I think they choose not to seat you in the main area once they find out you have a discount coupon. We were eventually seated in the main area after complaining to the manager. The brunch food was great, they have almost everything you can think of -- and the price with the coupon is very reasonable. Aside from the seating disappointment, this brunch is worth a visit.

Love love this place! Very beautiful course, well kept and the food is amazing. Im having a wedding there in June and Becky the wedding cordinator has been so helpful every step of the way. I have search all around the I.E for a wedding venue and couldnt find everything this had to offer at such a great price. An to have a fantastic staff to help you every step of the way from the head chef to the servers to the cordinator just puts the icing on the cake!

Amazing course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in amazing shape! It was a jaw dropping course to me since Im use to playing upland and shandin hills (which are in rough shape). I highly recommend this course to everyone! A word to the wise, if the wind is under 12-15 mph just play like you normally would and dont account for the wind

The food was delicious. I ate so much that I could barely walk afterwards. There was a great selection to choose from. The music was just a little too loud, it could have been due to the fact we were seated close to the saxaphone musician and his speakers. Other than that, it was a good experience for my family and I.

Great place to shoot a few holes or polish up on your swing. Greens fees are about $82. Brunch on Sundays - Reservations for the main dining room maybe needed. You can also have brunch in the lounge area or outside, (weather permitting), without reservations. Nice spread of food.

I drive 100 miles every two months to play this incredible course. It challenges your game but it is very fair and pure enjoyment. It can be extremely difficult in high winds. The staff is really great and I recommend the course.

We had our company Christmas party here. It was very nice. The staff was accommodating, food was great and thus was a beautiful location. This is a nice clean location. Quiet and absolutely beautiful on a clear day.

Course is surrounded by residential houses and a shopping center. Reasonably priced, well kept fairways and greens it was a enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. No extreme dog legs. Wide fairways and views.

As always, the course was in pretty good shape. Its been a rough summer for sure. The pace of play was great for Sunday morning. Greens were a little soft but rolled true. Friendly staff and good food.

Great course. Resort style layout with perfect fairways and great greens. Rough not to penal and sand in the bunkers. Enjoy playing it as long as the wind stays down.
