If I could give them a Zero star rating I would. Absolutely the worst experience ever. I have been bowling there many times and will NEVER go back. We went there to celebrate my brithday, we drove further because they are supposed to offer a better bowling experience. Instead what we got was a security personnel (white, bald, mid 40s) physically removing one of my party members after getting physical with him several times. When my party member asked repeatedly to speak to the manager over his behavior he was told that there wasnt one and that he (the security person) was he security manager and that he could deal with him. He was aggressive, in two of my party members faces the whole time, physically aggressive, touching and grabbing one of my party members arm reapeatedly even after being told not to touch him again. When it became evident that without speaking to a manager my party member was not going to leave the security person grabbed him and literally drug him from the bowling alley. With ZERO provocation from my party member, he never initiated any physical contact with the security guy at any time, just repeatedly asked to speak with the manager. All of this was because you need permission to have an outside cake which was supposedly what this guy came over to do. When we finally got the girl in the snack bar to get the manager he refused to review the video or do anything to investigate our complaints about how his staff behaved. Once outside the same security personnel continued to use profanity in an attempt to provoke a physical confrontation with my party member and when that did not work he called the cops. While I was inside getting a refund for the bowling we were obviously not going to be doing I watched the same security person treating a group of teens the same way, and oh surprise it was also over an outside cake. In their faces, aggressive posture... the whole nine! This guy is a time bomb, sounds mellow dramatic but he is. He was spoiling for a fight and when my party member didnt give it to him he initiated it and then continued to try to egg on my friend after calling the cops in an attempt to have him arrested. Again I cannot say how terrible the experience was and I would not suggest anyone go there. Over priced bowling and terrible staff. I am a manager in a customer service industry and if I ever treated a guest that way or initiated conflict with one I would be fired on the spot.

My family and I came to this place on May 12th, 2015 at night for the unlimited bowling and we asked if we could use the lanes that were on the left because we had such a large party, and they said no because it was only for leagues. Now we didnt have a problem with that until the gentlemen that were sitting next to us along with his large party of friends asked If they could have some lanes on the left and were able too. So my wife and I asked why they were able to and not us and why they said it was only or leagues when clearly those young teenagers werent a league and all they said was that we were welcome to play at those lanes now and that apparently the lanes were still only for leagues. It would have been nice if they wouldve allowed us to use those lanes when we came not 15 minutes before closing. If youre white then you might have a better experience. Im white myself but my wifes family is black and Ive noticed that they treat colored people differently and Im not just saying that because my family is black. Its just not right . We will not be coming back and corporate will hear from us !!!!

So I want to love this place... there are a few things that make it hard. First, the lanes often fill on the weekend (the only time I can take my kids). Ive walked away without bowling at all several times, because I wasnt prepared to wait for 1.5 hours. Which is my poor planning, but dont expect to just pop in. Second, the service is spotty. Last time that I went in to discover that there were no free lanes, I had to wait fifteen minutes for the guys behind the counter to halt their conversation and tell me there was a long wait. They werent helping anyone else, just chatting and staring at me as thought they thought I might get bored and walk away. Third, the arcade is pretty expensive. Otherwise, the place offers clean, family-friendly bowling and other recreations.

Unless you really understand the bowling industry, you should not give this place a bad rating. Those of you who did havent got a clue what it takes to run a Family Fun Center. Satisfying customers who bowl 3 times a year is totally different than satisfying customers who are league bowlers. This place makes an effort to do both! Try getting the same food selection at other bowling centers. Try dealing with people who come to do nothing but damage the place and act rude while intoxicated. You can go here and eat a decent meal before bowling and do so with ease of mind that a family atmosphere will be maintained since they actually have security there in the evening. The staff is awesome. I know the effort they make to provide good service.

We decided to have our small IT Department work party at Strikes. We had dinner at the restaurant then bowling after. The food was decent, I had the New York steak, and we had some appetizers too. I enjoyed the Calamari and nachos. I was amazed to see how terrible the rental shoes were. Most of them had holes and the soles were coming off. The bowling balls were in okay condition but the lanes seemed to not be very maintained. I would say Im disappointed that this place is in such bad condition. At least they could afford some new shoes, theyre usually pretty busy here so Im sure its just mismanagement or greedy owners who dont put any money back into the place.

The Staff at strikes is rude. The security is worse then anything else though. My friends and I used to attend at least once a week in a group of ten or more people for the unlimited bowling and it got to the point where we would go so often that they automatically recognized us as soon as we walked in. We were regulars. But it seemed the more we went the worse the service got. If you ever have loads of free time and want to meet some real jerks go meet the security at strikes! If for whatever reason they dont like you they will call Rocklin PD and tell them to pull you over to check you for a DUI. Its ridiculous.

I love this place, make sure you check their website for coupons i saved a ton on the bowling and arcades;) long story short any friday and saturday night you will find alot of young and older people having fun...sure you will run into people like david down there but thats why they put the bar up front and off to the side so us common folk can have an enjoyable time without a bunch of kids running around being drunk. Long story short this is a fun family place that if you get there early 6-9pm you will no doubt have a blast ;) especially if you live in rocklin.
