We were there today, and while it started out okay, it ended very poorly. I almost rated two stars for "disliked it" but based on the actions of the owner or manager, and the very disappointed tasting fee policies, it had to go downwards. First of all, the wines, meh. Although its nice to be able to taste a lot of wines at one place, 12 is a few too many, it got to the point that it was hard to remember. They have a lot of old vine zinfandel, like 5 different wines, and I love zinfandel, but it was a bit much. The White Barbera was truly excellent though. Now for the policies: There is a $5 tasting fee, certainly not high, but they make you pay up front and then if you buy wine the tasting fee is refunded. We had 5 people tasting, and my father paid for all 5. He was also the only one to buy wine, he joined the wine club and purchased 14 bottles (a case of one wine, and two others), but he was only refunded $4.68 (might be $4.62, I dont have the receipt with me right now). When we asked, they said that was the refund just for HIS tasting fee, MINUS TAX. Are you freaking kidding me?? Thats the most penny-pinching ridiculous thing I ever heard! I told my dad to cancel the sale right there, but I doubt they would have done so. He immediately cancelled his membership in the wine club though. Completely ridiculous. Then, as were going to the car, the guy who was helping us brought out the case of wine to the car when the owner or manager (he definitely didnt introduce himself) came roaring into the parking lot through the clearly marked exit gate at about 40 miles per hour. He immediately started yelling at the guy who, again, was in the middle of helping customers (!) about "did you sell those cases of wine like I told you too!" The guy was clearly cowed by the owner/manager, and the owner/manager didnt even bother to wait until he was done helping us! Ive never seen such rude and boorish behavior from an owner, but I definitely see where those terrible penny-pinching policies are coming from. We definitely will not be back. And I dont recommend it to anyone else. We had been planning to visit the sister winery, Villa Toscano, but after our poor experience at Bella Piaza, we skipped it.

This place is anti environment and from what I can tell are rabid tea party type people. I had made a suggestion to them to consider having an Electric charger for EV vehicles since it could enhance their business...and I get a nasty response saying..talk to Obama he is loaded. That tells me a lot about this place..and I wont be supporting jerks like this especially when there are lot more places to go to.

We joined their wine club because of their whites, totally loved Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. But we only give them 3 stars for the reds, too much tannin , and they do have a bit much as one of the other posters pointed out. We are heading up there next month

Both wineries are fantastic. Im a member at both. Awesome pasta buffets, and the staff are extremely polite. I read some of the reviews where people gave 1 star and im surprised at the comments.

Dont bother with this winery! I have been there twice with a large group and each time was a very unpleasant experience! There are some very rude people there.
