Do any of you know who is LC? Lo? Maybe, Kristin? No? Well youre in luck. You might see sightings of people who look a lot like them. Dont get me wrong. I love Newport Beach. Away from the LA lifestyle. A bit of a drive away from touristy Anaheim. Theres something different living nearby the beach and less traffic in this part of town. I wouldnt mind living it up at Newport Beach. Also, the air seems a lot more fresh, beach as clean and pristine, and the beach houses are quite lavish. Parking is a breeze if you decide to come on a Sunday. After noonish is better to come because parking is free. Soft sands, tanning bodies, cool jams and surfers are a perfect example of skipping work to come here. Overall, the beautiful sunny weather on a good day is pretty fetch and wayy better looking eye candy than Ive seen in awhile. Id definitely come back here time and time again!

Newport Pier is a stately pier was built in this configuration in 1940. The Newport Lifegaurd Bldg at the front of the pier is a beauty. The pier has long been popular for a stroll, fishing, taking in the coastal view and also dining at the restaurant on the end of the pier (Newport Grill & Sushi closed in 2012). Nestled to the side of the pier is Dory Fishing Fleet a coopertive that was established in 1891. The pier extends out across a wide white sand beach that is the playground of the locals and tourists (6.9 million visit Newport Beach each year; the pier is central to this lovely beach town). Newport Beach is usually very crowded yet the area has a serenity about it. The beach is well maintained by Newport Beach government. The pier is a real asset to this gorgeous community!

Im not sure if "15th Street Beach" would be the correct title for probably the best beach in Orange County but the beach Im talking about is on the Balboa peninsula and reaches from the pier all the way to the West Jetty View Park. Why is it the best beach? Because its clean, wide, and usually not crowded. Parking can be tough, yes, but get here early and youll find a spot. Lifeguards are on duty most times of the year. There is only one toilet though near the pier. Still... sitting in the sand, spotting dolphins and hearing the waves crushing... this is SoCal.

Parking here is an absolute nightmare. Ive never experienced a more poorly planned and laid out area for everyone - drivers, pedestrians, cyclists. No parking garages or even much of any parking lots....why??? Theres so many people....literally was stuck in traffic looking for something for TWO HOURS. Finally found something on the other side of the pacific coast highway....and then trying to walk over to the pier, the crosswalks are horrible and have you going back and forth across the street! Ridiculous, poorly planned area.

Fun place, some good restaurants nearby, Charlies chili has takeout and sit down and a good variety on the menu including breakfast items! Janes corndogs is basic menu but popular, I havent had one due to being a vegan. Pipeline has good stuff including a good veggie burger and they give you a ton of fries. The is a good coffee shop right there too. The pier itself is nice and clean, but the shack at the end could be converted to something useful. They should make it an asset to the pier instead of an eyesore.

Im giving this place 4 stars because of the cleanliness. Newport Beach Pier is very crowded, especially from Thursday night to Sunday night. Also popular because of the donut shop open around the clock. The beach is dirty with a lot of trash. The parking lot has the meters and it is free after 6pm. The restroom is dirty and smelly. The pier is dirty as well and will close after 12pm. Overall, this is a good place for groups, with a lot of food shops, rental, bars, pubs.

Newport is tot nu toe de ontdekking van onze USA-vakantie. Zeer relaxed gebied, met mooie duinen waar mensen wonen en waar veel ge-jogged wordt. Daarnaast relaxte mensen en niet zo ordi als bijv. Venice Beach.

Tourist beware as it ought to be zoned institutional district considering the ratio of parolees, mentally ill just discharged patients, probationers and crooked cops, to the common law abiding citizen/tourist now if you are looking for a staging area for the hypothetical considerations of questionable commercial operations then this place is perfect though artist innovation is not suggested unless you plan to smuggle contraband via astral highway.

Were in our third holiday here and we dont want to leave. The pier itself is very pretty, clean and well kept, full of character and is a nice centre piece of a beautiful piece of coastline. Nearby are a nice selection of things to see, shops and restaurants, along with cafes and easy parking. Rent or bring a bike and cruise the boardwalk or just enjoy the beach. As close to a perfect location as you could hope for. Love it.

Very busy and exciting pier, you got folks playing in the sand, specialty shops, tones of parking if youre patient when looking for a space, open fishing on the pier mackerels were hopping, bars, food, restaurants, and great view, enjoy walking along the pier or along the sidewalk next to the beach or near restaurants, coffee, clothing pastry shops, its all their for all to enjoy, music and fun!

Muy pintoresco. Es una de las atracciones del lugar. Se adentra bastante en el mar, permitiendo unas vistas muy buenas de la costa. Pueden tomarse buenas fotos, especialmente al anochecer.

Do try to take a pleasant evening walk on this pier. Theres always a breeze and it can get cooler than the sand so bring a sweater or windbreaker if you get cold, especially after the sun goes down. There are frequently fishermen and sometimes kids fishing from the pier. If youre curious, Ive found these people friendly and open to questions, for the most part.

Love the beach, Newport is an awesome place. You dont need to walk far to get to the water unlike Huntington. Only visited a few times, but enough for me to enjoy it the sand is sooo soft & the water is perfect. Definitely recommend going there especially if you have younger childeren. But like any beach you still need to keep close eye on them.

Newport beach is one of the beach I used to go with my parents when I was child. I used to go here with my high school friends to hang out. I love love the long parking lot that wraps around its free parking pass 6pm every night. Now we go here to catch lots of good Pokémon. Pokémon goers should come here to play!!

Nice beach, clean for the most part. Not too crowded, even on a Sunday. Didnt actually go on the pier this trip, but did use the restrooms. Its a beach bathroom, but the fresh seafood place at the pier smelled better than the womens restroom. Blegh. Well be back though, we love that parking is so close.

Parking is a bear and especially pay attention on street sweeping days. Preteen kids do really well in between jetties here with easy times of moderate waves crashing about them...good view of children at play for caretakers. Really great times. Chill atmosphere for relaxing and loving our shoreline.
