There is a reason why Jarvis Winery is the #6 thing to do in Napa according to TripAdvisor! This winery is amazing. Yes, it is high-end, but when you want a wine that is made with extreme care and thought, and wine that tastes outstanding, you will have to pay a little bit more for it. The cave tour is like nothing you have ever seen before and there is nothing pretentious about it. The groups are small and intimate, which is what we love. We only visit smaller wineries now, because the big guys are just too commercial. I have sent many friends to Jarvis and everyone loved it! If you want a truly unique experience in Napa, head to Jarvis.

My favorite winery in Napa! I love parking on the natural grass lot and we even had a place to charge our car while we had our tasting. The cave is tucked into the side of a misty mountain and once inside we were lead through the whole wine making process - underground! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and - yes Im getting there - out of this WORLD wines. Smaller production and absolutely artisan. Took home bottles of the Cabernet Franc, Science Project and the Reserve Cab. Wholeheartedly recommend!

My group (6 of us) discovered that your "host" can easily make or break your experience. So many beautiful wineries in Napa and we wasted our time spending it at Jarvis. His Un-professionalism and the scene he made when we entered with an additional "guest" was un called for and unacceptable. The other group guests (4) approached us after the tasting to apologize that we had to start our experience that way.

We went to Jarvis bi-annual Harvest Tasting party. It was a great experience. The wine is, of course, high quality, but the main attraction was the friendly crowd. We chatted and got to know some really interesting people. The in-the-mountain cave system at Jarvis is a must-see.

Super, super cool place. Make sure you make your reservation in advance, this place was built for the publics pure enjoyment and they literally look as though they spared no expense to create the most amazing experience in napa!

If showy, pretentious, and over the top is your thing then youd love it. Think of it as the Disneyland of wineries. If you prefer down to earth, better views, and better wine - save yourself the $60 tasting fee (per person!).
