Ive been playing for about a year and a half now and this place is up the street from me. Im a firm believer in a routine of "playing more than I practice, " and while I frequent their renovated driving range, I come here weekly for a twilight round on weekdays after work since its night lit. The course is great practice and builds confidence for those weekend rounds at more challenging courses. As an executive course, their are 9 Par 3s, 8 Par 4s and 1 Par 5, so youll can still work on every shot in your arsenal. The only thing they need is a better chipping practice area. The one they have is small, and rarely open. Its a shame because they have that area in the corner by large putting green (behind 18) that seems under utilized. If they had something there, Id probably be there 4 times a week.

While Ive only used the driving range here, Ive always been able to find a spot. With the airplanes flying overhead and the laid back atmosphere, Ive always found this to be a really laid back driving range in LA. Its never intimidating, nor filled with people who are trying to be armchair coaches. The prices for balls are affordable and I believe they do ladies night on Friday nights at the driving range as well. If you dont have any clubs, you can borrow a club from inside the pro shop. If youre looking for a place to unwind and swing away, this is a laid back place to do it.

Well-kept for a public course. Rather challenging with so many par-3s, since par-3s demand a good, accurate tee shot. Counter service is excellent, cart garage very helpful with any problems. Having lights after sundown means you can start late and still get in all 18. I only go on weekdays, and the pace of play is quite acceptable. The most amusing review here is from the guy who rates the facility Poor to Fair because there arent any right-handed drivers for rent at the driving range -- you needing to rent a driver means youre not a golfer, pal. Who cares what you think?

I play here about six times each year in the early spring and late fall. I prefer to play after dark under the lights. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are easy going and relaxed. Ive encountered ill-mannered players once or twice but they are the exception not the rule here. In the darkness the back nine makes you feel like you are alone on the course. last spring a fox came out of the wooded area next to 15 and checked my ball. Whatever you do, dont waste time looking for any shots that go OB in the dark.

Just played the full 18 for the first time last night and the three new holes are perfect. Long par 5 with a dogleg left and huge bunkers. Great par 3, 160ish, to a plateau green and a 350 yard par 4 with a false front green. All three holes are worthy of a $100 plus course. They dont really fit in with the rest of the course, but who cares. For 16 bucks under the lights, I couldnt have been happier! Staff is always awesome as well. I will be there as often as I can.

Pros: grass driving range, super friendly guys behind the counter, cheap golf. Cons: PAINFULLY slow golf every time I play there, they put people off in fivesomes, you will tee off later than your actual tee time, you cant see your ball land on the grass driving range because of a big tarp blocking your view, and the greens are soft and bumpy.

Came out here for the driving range. I havent had a chance to try the course yet. The range is well-kept, and the prices are definitely affordable. LAX is right by this spot, so sometimes the sound of the planes taking off distracted me. Thats the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. That being said, I still plan on going back sometime.

A bit pricey for a public course this small. I mainly go to the driving range; however I always avoid the weekends at the range here. On the weekends, the grass hitting area is to the east side of the range where no woods are allowed. The elevated west side prevents you from seeing any targets and where your ball lands!!

Not a bad course! The course seemed well kept and the workers are friendly. The carts are limited on busy days but the courses a rent so long that youll suffer from exhaustion. They sell be here for you to take on the course but they dont have rain checks so make sure your ready to play all 18 if you pay for it.

This is my Friday after work destination. For some reason the last few times on the back end of the course, holes 12, 13,14, & 15 have been dark; the lights have been out. Golf is difficult enough to play in the brightness of day and almost impossible in the dead of night. Please rectify...

Basic course that wont challenge good players too much. In ok condition. More suited to learners and was very slow to get around the day i played. Rented clubs for $20. They were brand new which was nice but cheap with uniflex shafts.

Nice to have a driving range and short game practice area but the course is obnoxiously close to the airport runway and the associated noise pollution. Penmar is in relatively much better shape.

Great range, low prices, pretty well-kept course. Twilight golf is great in the summer, til 10p. Can sometimes play slow as tee times arent that closely managed.

Juior golf program was one of the best things for our young gifted golfers needs. I am just an old member of Western States Golf Association.

I was the after a rain and the course doesnt have good rain runoff. Other than that its a decent course to practice your short game.

Great pricing, and nice and peaceful place. I have played both in the day and at night, and both are equally enjoyable. Nice staff.

Super fun place to grab the clubs and take a few practice swings , or to catch a 9/18 hole of golf. Lots of parking and open tees

Fun place to hit the ball around if youre not looking for a serious round of golf. Fun to watch the planes land while playing.

Nighttime at the driving range, hitting balls into the fog. It was really fun watching the balls disappear.

Fun little course. Not too difficult and not too long, but long enough to enjoy a quick little game.
