My kids love the pirate ship playground. I have fun dodging the make believe canon balls. The pirate ship can be hard to find if you have never been there. It is located right behind the aquatic center. Take them here and this will be one of your kids favorite childhood memories.

Beautiful well maintained park. Took my dog for an early Saturday morning walk and we both enjoyed it very much. Look out for the bench! We missed it the first time around, but went back and found it. Its a pretty small park maybe a 25 -30 minute walk. Just lovely.

This park has everything! Tennis courts, swimming pools, baseball fields, playground...you name it. No basketball court though. Ample parking. Dont stay too late though because they do turn off lights after the park closes (except the tennis courts).

This place was a lot of fun. Big green spaces and good family areas. Its next to Arroyo and rose garden. We walked from Arroyo which was less than ideal since some of the areas in Arroyo really smelt like sewage. next time id come directly here

I was amazed to see such a clean and wide open park. My friend had her sons birthday party,and even though there were two other partys going on. There was tons parking available. I will absolutely come back to Brookside park.☺

There is quite a bit going on in this park. There are areas perfect for work or family functions with a large outdoor amphitheater and BBQ pits. Check out the historic Rose Bowl and aquatic center while you are here.

There are lots of play areas for kids, and open grass areas, too. The back of the park has a brand new pirate ship that even handicap children can enjoy. Several areas can be reserved for private parties.
