This was the second dog park I took my young shepherd husky mix because a lady I met at another one recommended it to me. I came it thinking, "Awesome. Its really large and spacious and has tons of grass." My pup loves dog parks. But why 1 star? She got attacked by a small and chubby dashound. My girl ran from and the dashound kept chasing her. As she ran, I guess she ran near its owner and he pulled out a spray bottle and was going to spray her. That angered me so much, his dog trys to harm my dog and tries to punish my dog? No, I dont think so. My dog (if she really wanted to) could have fought back and caused serious damage to his dog, but did not. Then after that, there was this adorable male pitbull, and just after they smelled one another, he started growling an then snapped at her. She ran off back to me. At that point, I could no longer tolerate these dogs, as we tried leaving, a group of three or so small dogs were growling and snapping at my puppy. And I could believe that their owner(s) did nothing. As soon as I opened the safety gate my dog ran out. We havent returned since. I dont mind driving the extra 3 or so miles to Fullerton Pooch Park where I know that wont (most likey based in our experiences) happen.

This dog park is sort of unbelievable. It is big, clean, the dog-owners are friendly, there is plenty of parking and they provide you with doggie bags! It is sort of difficult to locate but since there are few turns off of Old Ranch Road, it isnt that difficult either. Now if only Buddy didnt bark insistently at the other dogs, it would be a slice of heaven for this dog sitter.

Was visiting from out of town. Google this park. Spacious room with enough trees and grassy area for our dogs to enjoy play time. Great owners that always kept watch over their dogs. Friendly dogs and very playful. Only down fall was not enough seats. Water fountain for dogs was perfect. I would definitely recommend this dog park to dog lovers.

This is one of the largest dog parks in the area. It is easy to reach from Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, north Seal Beach and west Garden Grove. The ground is covered with grass, instead of tree bark or other materials found at some other parks. The people and their dogs are generally well-behaved. Good!

The entrance to this park is just past the fish and wildlife parking lot on the right (going West). Great dog park, it would be nice if it had a separate area for small dogs, but otherwise its a great place to hang out. It has good drinking fountains, grass, and lots of room.

Its one of the largest parks Ive been to. The road to parking is narrow. I notice the park is regularly patrolled by animal control and all dogs should be on a leash before entering the park. Dogs should be on a leash entering the park for safety reasons as well.

Make sure you go before it gets dark, there are not lights. Dogs have a great time, the parents are really pleasant, lots of room for the dogs to run. It can be a bit tricky because the entrance area is not clearly marked but its a good dog run :)

Grass and well maintained also. Large fenced park with responsible owners. Water is provided and ample parking. Kinda hard first time to locate the street to turn onto to get to park. But once you locate you will be happy found this place.

Nice people. A huge place for dogs to play. Small and Large dogs play together. They have portable potties nearby. The enterence was REALLY hard to find. There is a small driveway after the Fish and Game parking lot. Good luck.

Large grassy dog park. Plenty of room to run. One park for all size dogs. There are only a few benches and only one bench has a little shade. Although there is shade if you bring your own chair. People and dogs are friendly.

It is a very large place, but there are a lot of unsupervised dogs and people who think this is their dogs toilet. Do not expect others to step in and reprimand their dog for fighting or humping because they wont.

Large secured area for dogs (of all sizes) to socialize and run around. There are bunch of trees for your dogs to sniff as well. Its worth visiting if youre thinking about it.
