The appeal of this park is that it has a bit of everything but is smaller than most parks. This park has a couple of basketball courts, about four tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool (though, the hours are a bit quirky), handball courts (not team handball, but the one where you use your hand to hit the ball against a wall), a rubberized track (about 5 laps is a mile, as the distance of one lap is less than a standard 400 meter track), baseball fields, a couple of playgrounds, and picnic table areas. I personally come here a lot for the track for my running workouts. The track can get crowded on evenings, but navigating and weaving in between people usually isnt an issue. Walkers generally stay towards the outside of the track, while the runners tend to stay towards the inside of the track. If the track isnt your thing, there is also a circular-ish pathway around the park (and I think it is about a half mile if you take the long way). Just a note about the bathrooms, though. Even though the park closes around 10 PM, Ive noticed that the bathrooms tend to close a lot earlier (closer to 9 PM or so). That caught me by surprise a few times, so be mindful of the possibility that the bathrooms might close before the park closes. Parking can get a bit hairy on a few of the weekday evenings (I think its because of swimming lessons for kids), so something to keep in mind. However, circling around the parking lot a few times usually does the trick. Overall, a great park that offers a lot for its smaller size (compared to other parks).

One of the best parks in Cerritos as they have it all, baseball fields, track, tennis courts, basketball courts, handball courts, recreation center, swimming pool, gym, safe playground area, picnic areas, and a large path around the park that measures at 1/2 miles each lap. The track can get a little crowded sometimes but walkers tend to stay on the outside, letting the runners take the inside of the track. Sometimes there are some people playing soccer in the middle of the track where its grassy so you have to something to entertain you while running. The track is .2 miles each lap, so 5 laps = 1 mile.

Came here for a surprise 8th birthday party and since I had never been here, didnt know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the room(s) are so they can accommodate a large gathering if needed. Loved the fact that it had air conditioning and that it worked! Bathrooms were nice and clean. Some of the toilet seats could stand to be upgraded, but regardless still nice. The park itself is awesome! Something for every age to do which is very nice. Hope to come here again for another family event.

Cerritos Park East (or CPE) is a suburban city park located in Cerritos. CPE has several amenities such as a 360m rubber walking track, an olympic training indoor pools, numerous tennis courts, four baseball fields, and a central recreational building. I always like to run around the park and on the track with my schools running team. At night the park is well light which provides a nice late- night environment for walkers, joggers, etc.

I come to this park to play pick up basketball, walk and sometimes to play tennis. The parking can get crowded when there are events going on at the swim center, baseball fields, or just a big group picnic reservation. Overall, it is pretty family friendly and most of the people that come to the park are friendly and relaxed. Great lighting at night for walking, basketball, tennis, etc.

One of the nicest cleanest parks in the south Los Angeles area. Cerritos takes great care of this and its other parks. It is well used, but also nicely groomed. There are always people, but still a nice corner to relax in. The walks are lit for an evening stroll, and the track and diamonds are lit for evening activities all year round.

Great track with rubberized surface, decent walking trail (paved) great baseball fields and playgrounds. Tennis courts, basketball courts and the swim center are all located here as well. Meeting rooms available through the city parks department.

The best park in the city by far. It has a little bit of everything for families, sports enthusiasts, or just relaxers. It is attached to an Olympic sized swimming pool that was used as qualifiers for the 1984 Olympics.

Nice local park across from the Cerritos Olympic Swim Center. My wife takes our little one there to play while I watch over the older one at Swim class. Gym equipment is decent. Lots of paths to walk/jog.
