Attended the Eagles second night concert on Friday, Jan. 18, 2014. Had "reasonably" priced seats, pretty high up, bought through Ticket Master. There were 2 good things about the newly renovated forum -- (1) The acoustics were excellent, much better than at Staples Center, where I saw Bob Seger a few years ago; and (2) The newly upholstered seats were a bit more comfortable than the usual hard plastic arena seats. That said, the seats were rather cramped and too tightly packed, leaving patrons with little to no elbow room and leg room -- as one of the other reviewers noted. The restroom situation was ridiculous, with very long lines for the Womens Restroom . . . I have knee problems and I was very dismayed to find that, after descending all of the steps from the seating area to the promenade areas -- where one normally finds food stands AND restrooms -- we were faced with having to climb down about a dozen more steps in order to get to the Womens Restroom. The ridiculously long lines indicated that the supposed renovation did not add sufficient restroom capacity for female patrons. (I do not know if the situation was the same for the Mens Restroom). I gave up on that and got in another long line to use one of 3, one-person, handicapped restrooms. Also, the parking situation was totally chaotic, in addition to being outrageously expensive at $25.00 per car. Upon pulling into the lot where traffic was being channeled, we were told that the handicapped parking was "full" and we had to park very far away from the arena. After our long and painful hike toward the Forum, we discovered a few dozen open handicapped parking spaces in the lot closest to the arena. We were not directed to this lot; and I felt really sorry for patrons who were more severely handicapped. There was NO reasonable accommodation! The Forum should take some lessons from The Greek Theatre on how to handle parking and crowds efficiently. The Greek Theatre also provides a Shuttle Bus for people who are not able to get a parking space close to the Theatre, and are directed to more remote parking areas. I think it wont be long before the Forum is sued for its lack of access and accommodation for handicapped patrons. And they will richly deserve to be sued. In addition, the Arena was not adequately cleaned in between Wednesday nights concert and the Friday night concert which I attended. Because the seats were so cramped, I set my purse on the floor and tried to tuck it back under my seat. The cleaning crew had failed to pick up a full cup of beer which a previous patron left under the seat and it spilled all over my purse, soaking it thoroughly and getting all over my shoes, as well, leaving me in a sticky, wet, beer-stinking mess for the better part of the concert. My lovely handbag was ruined and I had to wash my shoes, my coat and my jeans which all got wet from the spilled beer. The Forum definitely needs some more professional management and supervision of the facilities!!!!

What would have been a 5 star review got knocked down to a one star. We had a couple that sat next to us (who were friends with the people directly behind us) and blatantly said they were going to sit there till they got kicked out (I.e. Not their assigned seats) she punched my leg while removing her jacket and ignored the fact she had done so. They then made out, he grabbed her boob and then pulled her dress top away and looked down her top showing me a view of her right boob. (Not what I came to see!) they then proceeded to stand up (first row on balcony which blocked the view for everyone behind them) and dance which is cool except her butt entering my face. Her guy then pulled her close and tapped her butt to the beat while trying to insert his finger through her dress. There was NO usher in our area. She dropped a cup of booze while dancing down from our section (209) and then just picked another one up. She kept dancing with it and kept spilling it down below. I was super nervous about her spilling her drink on us as she kept waving it over our heads when she turned to speak with their friends behind us. I left the concert to speak with Guest Service and gave them the section and seat numbers and explained the situation. (I missed one of my favorite songs to do this!) they said they would send an Usher over to keep an eye on things and check it out. (They said the seats were not theirs! All they needed to do was ask to see their tickets) - anyways NO ONE came. We found standing and blocking part of the seat kept them more in the aisle and had to do that for the rest of the concert. Trying to watch a show (which the parts I saw were great) with someone getting their butt fingered in front of you is difficult, but apparently allowed or else they would have sent someone as they claimed they would. Otherwise: Parking was super easy Performers were fantastic The bathroom staff were GREAT! they even directed people when a stall was free. Parking attendants when leaving did a wonderful job directing traffic and keeping it moving. Bars were stocked and lines moved fast

I went to see Steely Dan at the Forum on 12 July 2014. I have some negative comments about the venue. 1) I was amazed that they charged me $25.00 to park my car. That was on top of a ticket priced at over $100.00. 2) I chose a seat in section 135, which is the first level up from the floor. I wanted to see everything. It was pitch black before the show, and it was difficult to see in the dark. There was a lady with a flashlight to guide me to my seat. There were no floor running lights, and they didnt have the house lights on so I could see where I was going. I thought it was dangerous. 3) I thought that the seats were too small and I was not comfortable with my seating. 4) The sound was the worst part of the show. The mid ranges were so muddy that they had to turn up the mics on all of the instruments so that you could distinguish them. Then you couldnt distinguish the vocals. I think it would be better if they had installed some sort of "surround sound" system that allowed them to keep the volume down and the sound fuller. A band like Steely Dan has a polyphonic sound, but it got lost in the muddy middle. It was one of the worst performances I have ever seen by a band of their caliber. I imagine they struggled with that sound too. I couldnt make it to the end of the show, and I have been a Steely Dan fan for many years. I give this venue two stars because at least it was clean and there were plenty of staff on hand so at least it was secure. I hope that they notice this comment and fix some of these things for those who venture there in the future. I will avoid it if I can help it.

My girlfriend and I made it to The Forum last night skeptical on how it was going to play out. Charlie Murphy was preforming at a comedy show there which I had scored tickets for only a day earlier that I justified by telling myself it was my little way of paying homage to the great MC Gusto. The parking fee was something I had not expected to be so high at a hot twenty-five bones for general and a blistering forty clams to have a piece of luxury and the Half a chance to get out before the end of the show bottleneck traps you in. Lucky for us I had a fifty spot in my back pocket that turned out to be just enough for a parking spot with the rest of the Generals and once I made it through the front lines, a hearty gallon or so big gulp sized cup of Heineken to quench the thirst I had accrued at a reasonable forteen Johnsons before tip. There was no tip. Because my girlfriend needed popcorn and coke for the show and in turn a reason to give away the last of my fifty dollar bill I used to have holding a space down in my pocket. Alas. Our seats were great but the actual seats that we were sitting on could have been a little bigger. Im lean and mean as well as is my girlfriend and have to say that the felt as if they were two sizes too small. I thank the metabolism gods that I wasnt the load of potatoes who sat next to us because once he squeezed in I dont know if there is a jaws of life strong enough to pry him out. Great show great time
