I use to play this course for many years, but I gave up about three years ago, mainly because play is ridiculously slow and the management refuses to do anything about it. They allow groups of four and even five to walk, and they can take as much time as they want on every hole. It got so bad one time, and this was during the weekdays, that three groups, including mine, all riding carts, were stuck at the T box while two walking foursomes ahead took twice as long as normal to play. I called the clubhouse and asked them to come out and tell the groups ahead they had to pick up the pace. They young guy who came out seemed intimidated by the two turtle groups ahead, and finally talked to group directly ahead. He didnt even glance at the group ahead of them, who were just as slow. I got so frustrated, I passed both of the slow groups and found an open hole. This has been the pattern for a long time and I am fed up. They need to get new management who know how to run a golf course properly.

This review is based solely on the driving range. Please find a better way to advertise that you stop selling balls at 9:00 PM (Other than putting it solely on your website) My friends and I drove out there from Placentia and arrived right around 9 to hit some balls; only to be told that you stop selling at 9, but keep the lights on until 10... If you are "OPEN" until 10, you should stop selling balls at 10. Applebees doesnt put that theyre open until midnight and then reject your food order at 11:50. Either do something about the closing time, or change your machine and policy to allow sale of driving range balls after 9:00 PM From what I was told, this happens quite often. Management should do something to address this problem.

Played Players Course this past Sunday. Course is located in a big park. Quiet, except for a few holes where it neighbors baseball fields. Course in good condition. Course is pretty straight forward, no extreme dog legs, etc. Few water hazards. The grass in the rough area was a bit high, it was pretty tough for me to get the ball out of there. Would play here again.

Pros: Greens were in good condition Bunkers well maintained Cons: probably the most boring course Ive played, the entire layout is pretty straight. The only challenge is the length Price: $55, which in my opinion is steep for what the course offers. Would not pay more than $30 considering that there are much better courses that can be played for the same price

Paid $36.00 round & the play was slow .I asked for a cart on the turn because I wouldnt be able to finish my 5hrs round, the Pro wanted to charge me additional $18 for cart ,after I already paid & was using a cart to only play 3-4 more holes. I walked from 11 green to my car. I guess Ill never play here again.

This is fountain valley high schools home course. Its in good condition for a public course. The rounds are moderately priced and the driving range is well kept.

Walk here often during the evenings. Rather peaceful around sunset, just dont stay after dark. Not very well lit at night.
