A hidden oasis in the foothills above Altadena. Under new management with lots of upgrades to boot. 1st a real grass driving range. No mats. 2nd, great pros Kevin and Courtney Erdman (you may have seen them on the Golf Channels Big Break series). 3rd, nine full length holes. 4th good breakfast. It is rarely busy here and I hesitate to share my secret spot but if you are looking for a quick 9 or some practice hitting off real grass you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Kevin really helped my slice as well.

My favorite thing about the course is that most Saturdays you can walk on pretty much any time after 12:30 or 1 pm. The course is short (I think about 6,400 yards from the back) with no water, no significant dog legs, but some trees that can affect your shot. Several par 4s are just over 300 yards. The price for 9 holes recently increased to $18 on the weekends. They have a natural grass driving range.

The clubhouse is dark (low light) with very little product and sad now. The 10th hole doesnt seem to be holding up so well either. Its a shame because the course is decently maintained and the views if the mountains are beautiful. I grew up with this course and I hope they invest in a little more up to date looking clubhouse and bar/grill.

This course is a great place to play for the amount of money one pays. People are friendly, and the management company has done what it can to improve the course for the best.

Im here just about every week. It is a challenging course with some long par 5s. The turf needs some attention but there are still plenty of good times to be had.
