Lakes.... ducks... playgrounds... outdoor gyms... live entertainment... I cant believe I hadnt been here before! Im always seeking out new places for walks/jogs/hikes and this seemed perfect... Its also up the street from the Cerritos Towne Center, so I can indulge after! ;) Was going to drive out to Cerritos to pick up a friend for dinner after work... It had been a rough day, so we had already decided on dessert for dinner! LOL As I thought about it, searching through my bookmarks, I figured we could squeeze in some healthy stuff since the rest of the night would be doomed! Weather was wonderful & the surroundings even better! But this place was PACKED!! The main lot was a bit congested, but you can always park over in the adjacent Sports Complex lot. We came across two gym areas - both were completely utilized! This is a good thing.. Well, unless you were one of the peeps awaiting your turn! There were a couple man-made lakes; somehow the ducks & geese knew to avoid the (artificially) "blue" fountain, but they frolicked everywhere else! We happened to come on a Wednesday night, during their Hot Summer Nights; pleasantly surprised by the live music! We didnt stick around but they show family films as the night progresses. It was nice to see families gathering on their blankets and chairs in anticipation of the nights events! Its a great place for kids, dog walking, people watching, pre-dessert-for-dinner calorie burning.... :P

Beautiful Place very green very chill place, even the elderly come here to walk everyday which to says a lot about a location and a park being our parents and grandparents usually are smarter... There alot of parking but could definitely use more.. Cleanest Park restroom Ive Been to, no smells doesnt hurt you heart or soul to use this one.. Came here for a family reunion an the only complaint I can think of is there needs to be more shaded areas for the kids to cool down besides that its winning.. #dobetter

I grew up next to this park, and I have so many great memories of it. Every morning you can see runners and people working at the outdoor gyms, every night there are loads of families walking around, and guys playing basketball. Enjoy the pool in the summer, and the fishing tournaments. An amphitheatre for impromptu performances. Many barbeque spots perfect for July 4th celebrations as well as birthdays. And upon remodelling, super clean restrooms now! Also, 8 pokestops and 3 gyms in the area :D

Its a huge park w/ a pool & a few play areas for children, but most of them are not shaded. There is only one seated section that is completely shaded. The other seats are partially shaded or directly in the sun. The pathways to the ponds & other parts of the park were not thought out very well. If you have a stroller or wheel chair it may be slightly difficult to get to different areas. If you want a seat in the shade, bring a blanket for the grass or a chair.

Great place for walking, and work out stops in East and West side of the park. Small lake for fishing, but there are certain components of the park that is disappointing. The maintenance crew drives that carts a bit too fast, and sometimes scares me that they might hit a small child. Also, they close the restrooms too early. This place should be monitored by a supervisor or manager to gain control of this park.

The Cerritos Regional Park is a beautiful place, with nice walking paths, ball fields, tennis, grilling options, exercise equipment, etc. I love to visit, it, however, the quantity and size of trees just seems to be low when considering that this park is attached to the city of Cerritos "Tree City" with all the large trees lining the avenues, boulevards and streets.

Good place to walk and run. But the routes around the ponds are always covered in duck poop. Also wounds park in the middle of a lot. Running one day and lady had her stuff stolen inside her car with window broken. Cop only parks under the tree by tennis courts and she parked on the main office lot. Good exercise equipment for circuit and running intervals.

A lot of pokestops (for you PokemonGo) Two loops around the park is about 4miles +/- I think restroom close at 9:00pm The parking going crowd here are pretty friendly looking. Nice park for kids to run around, however since there is manmade lake in the middle keep kids away from that area without supervision!

They have a work out station,a pond where people fish a small BBQ area, tennis, and basketball courts, gym and swimming pool. Such a great place to come and just have fun with the family to watch the ducks or play on the field. Near target in case the little ones get hungry.

The park is nice and clean. My daughter is taking swimming classes for the summer. She is really enjoying it and the instructor Mr. Roland is very nice. The parent and child class is great. Im learning how to help my daughter be more confident in the water. Thank you

Such a great and safe park. Has a sports complex, pool, fishing pond, soccer and baseball field, basketball courts, lots of playgrounds, plentiful bbq areas, and exercise equipment. It takes 1.6 miles to run around the perimeter of the park.

Great park for exercising and walking the dog. Plenty of room and several bathrooms throughout the park. The skate park is really nice with plenty of obstacles from beginner to advanced. It also seems to be a safe area for kids as well.

i used to play here since 5th grade...now I bring my kids here to chase the ducks. great park but wish the water was a prettier color and the ground was a little firmer... they are sometimes soggy to the point we lose shoes.

Been going to this park since I was a kid. The park is huge. It has swimming pools, basketball courts, Soccer and baseball fields as well as tennis courts and a skatepark. Great for family get togethers or picnics.

Very nice park. Walking/jogging path around the entire park. Tennis courts, fishing pond, skate park, exercise equipment, basketball courts, and picnic tables. A very nice place to have a great time outdoors.

Its a medium-large regional park. The grounds are well maintained and parking is abundant. The park is in a relatively safe area but of course you should never let you guard down.

This is a nice community park to visit. The lake looks semi clean and its full of aquatic life. The grass is green and the trees are tall so its perfect for a picnic or a date.
