Note to brides everywhere who are thinking about renting this place for your wedidng or reception: There IS a reason there are extremely limited photos on their website. I was interested in an outdoor wedding, and from the view of their website, it looked great. Thats only because no cars were going by at the time. Their gazebo is exactly 3 feet from the curb of a busy little rock road. There is no way youre going to hear ANY music above that roar! ALSO I know they say that you will NOT have to rent chairs, but you do if you want to use the outdoors. Secondly, the website offers several different rooms for receptions, and this is ALSO not the case. There is ONE room upstairs, and ONE room downstairs. The kitchen IS NOT a commercial kitchen, merely a house style kitchen with a hand washing sink. I was also not impressed with bridal preparation rooms or the grooms room (it was barely bigger than a walk-in closet!) HOWEVER, the staff at Hillcrest Hall was great in being honest with me, and if someone is on a pretty mid-sized budget, and wanted an indoor non-church wedding, this would actually be kindof nice. (definately not $1,150 worth of nice... but I guess that depends on the bride...)
