My friend took me to Time Out Lounge the summer after I turned 21. I didnt know too many cool bars at the time so when my friend turned me on to this place I was so excited. The atmosphere is exactly what I look for in a dive bar: easy going bartenders, cheap beer ($1.50 PBR), cheap pool tables (4 of them), and a crowd that doesnt care what other people look like. What I mean by that last statement is Ive met people there in college, people there for a pool night out, as well as older biker looking folks who were a riot. If a friend wants me to show them a good bar in Tempe, I take them to Time Out Lounge to have a few beers and then over to Casey Moores. Without fail, that is a great night.

This is THE local Tempe music scene casual hangout shoot pool low key singles cheap drinks small bands style. Been cool for at least 20 years prob many more. Very very casual and cozy, you can catch amazing bands here before they hit bigger venues. Booths add a definite feel. Best place to make new friends with tattoos in tempe. Excellent parking with lots of late food options and other great bars and venues for neighbors.

This gem of a bar has a unique ambience of punk-rock tinge meets hole in the wall country bar. Between the grsffitied bathroom doors, to the music event posters placed above the urinals, coupled with $0.50 pool tables and a stage where you can catch anything from local music to stand up comedy.

Bonita Tequila

Bonita Tequila now available at The Time Out Lounge. They have pool tables, darts, some video games and a good pinball machine. If you havent yet tried the worlds smoothest tequila you can now try it here.

My favorite bar. Nothing fancy, three pool tables, great jukebox. Pretty crowded on friday and saturday with anyone from college kids to 50 somethings. Way better than Monkey Pants :oP
