Went to the library for a CPS child visit...and the CPS visitation monitor found a black mesh bag loaded with a meth pipe and several other items... As a several time Convicted Felon.. I advised my son that... it was in our best health safety and security intrest to request video surveillance and withdraw from the scene before someway some how i get blamed..Accused... Prosecuted and judged guilty for a crime i did not commit... The system we live in is corrupted.. Wake up.. And stand up for whats right.. Dont fall victim to their trickery and foolish malevolent system... Father GOD... For they DO know their foolish evil and wicked ways.. Through your son the holy and solid savior.. BLESS...AMEN

I know this Library five stars because it is a very cozy but very resourceful Library The Librarians and all of the staff that worked down to the security guard are great great at their job and great personal people they have enough computers for the people to come there its not like the downtown library will you have to wait up to two hours to get to a computer its mostly quiet during the day they have really comfortable sitting in the back of your the wall all types even the cold little comfortable chairs with the attached little desk thats oval shape that moves around when you can set your coffee from Starbucks if need be on it overall this place is magnificent bring your family they love it

Its an oasis in the Desert. Lots of mature trees so you know theres plenty of shade. The lake has a boating doc so I can bring my kyak without having to pay to use it. Lots of tables for events. Ive been going here for years and notice the city constantly making improvements like a new dog park. My favorite part is the island a little more private great for rolling out a mat and enjoying pilates in the park.

This is a pretty nice park. Very large, big fishing area. Aside from the occasional obnoxious radio its pretty peaceful. Could definitely use more shade though. The restrooms on the southwest side arent always clean. Theres also no doors on the stalls. They recently added soap dispensers which is nice. Alvord lake is stocked regularly too (cats or trout, dependent on time of year).

My review of: Cesar Chaves Park I came here one evening and was impressed by its cleanliness and its huge lake. There are bathrooms on both sides. The play area is sand filled. There is small roofs on top of the play equipment in an attempt to provide shade but falls short of actually keeping anything cool in the summer. I loved the small rope merry go round.

I love this park because my husband takes me fishing here. Unfortunately we noticed more than a few dead fish (2 catfish and others) and a few smaller blue gill struggling to survive.:( Maybe bad water pollution...definitely the quality of the water was nasty..so I wouldnt suggest fishing here especially if you intend on bringing one home to cook.

Good and bad memories. I use to take my daughter here to play at the playground, kickball, ride scooter, bike, feed the ducks, and then this is where I spent a lot of lonely nights listening to my stereo thinking of all the pain of life, trying to figure it out. And so much more. Overall, I have a great Love for this park.

This particular branch of The Phoenix Public Library is O.K. at best. If it wasnt for the loud crying babies and the obnoxious teens that pack its very small and limited space, this might be a good place to read or surf the internet, except for the staff - who show partiality depending on ethicity.

This is a really nice park. We went there for the music and fireworks on Memorial Day. I was impressed, the fireworks were a lot better than I expected. The lake is nice and relaxing. Also, Ive played gold at Aguila several times - its a really nice and well-maintained golf course.

A very nice park. Most of the dog owners at the dog park or nice and can control their dogs. Some people just dont seem to care. So you have to watch out for those. But other than that it is a very nice park and and I will take my dogs back to the dog park there.

One of the best parks in the Phoenix area. Its big, has resting spots with benches along the sidewalk walking route. Big lake. Lots of shade, skateboard area on the West side, playground and its close to Circle K and QuikTrip right on the corner.

There was a group of transients living in the middle of the park. The bathrooms were pretty clean, half of them were locked. Besides the bad, the kids play area was okay. The group of people walking and fishing were all welcoming and friendly.

I like to come to this park to relax and enjoy the scenery. My Cousin and I spend hours in the park playing scrabble and eating. I advise those that like to enjoy a nice quiet park, come here and bring family and or friends.

I like to fish here caught a few trout. The night time is a little sketchy. I think I saw a wolf here one time. The side walk around the lake is one of my favorite jogging places. Not very well lit at night but theres enough.

Beautiful park, but when I brought my dog for a walk, there were other dogs WITHOUT leashes that their owners apparently thought would behave themselves enough to not run up to my dog. Sure enough, they did, and chaos ensued.

Massive lake, always maintained. Clean bathrooms. Large gazebos, they dont take reservations, so people abuse the fist come policy. Great playground for the kids. Plenty of trees and shade. Lots of benches too.

Nice big park with scenic mountain views. Playground, stocked fishing lake, walking path, skateboard park and dog park. Laveen Library is here so you can grab a good book and go read under a nice shade tree.

Decent park. Water is filthy, but such is the way with man-made lakes/ponds in Phoenix. What would make this park amazing is a splash pad. I was hoping thats what they were building instead of the dog park.

Less homeless ppl than most parks, clean, safe only negative is that its a very big park w/ minimal restroom facilities. Zero near dog park, skate boarding area or basketball courts. Lots of dead fish:(

Beautiful park. Lots of ducks and large fish (maybe bass) in the spring. Fishing quota on sign at park. Great for family get togethers. Water can get kinda gross with trash pooling in one area of lake.

It offers a play area for kids. Skateboarding ramps. Basketball courts. Man made lake views. A library within the park for those that would like to stay in doors in a quiet relaxing environment.

Really nice park! It has a lot of space, some cabanas where you can do barbecue. We saw some people fishing. There are many types of birds, like ducks, geese, etc. and we even saw a cute turtle.
