Every single time I come to Landmark whether its for food or drinks I receive THE WORST SERVICE EVER UPSTAIRS and it is always because of this one bartender Kerri. Kerri is extremely rude and wears her emotions on her face. I ordered wings and asked for garlic Parmesan sauce on the side. When I received my receipt it read "wings 10" but nothing about the sauce. This is my first time ordering food for dine in I usually get take out so I asked Kerri does the receipt usually say the flavored wings or did she forget she said it doesnt say the flavors it just says wings then gave another example if you order landmark fries the receipt just says fries. I say thank you and go sit at a booth. My wings get to my table by another customer btw not even an employee never heard of that before.. when I get my wings the sauce is so cold it was chunky and it was definitely not garlic parm. I waited until I saw that she was free and I explained the sauce was cold and not the usual garlic parm I always get and to stop confusion I will simply take buffalo sauce instead. Well Kerri rolled her eyes walked to the cash register talked about me to another employee which was obvious because the other employee looked directly at me when she was talking to her, she came back and I asked her "why do you always walk around with an attitude like every time I come here you have an attitude?" She responds to me "because you keep coming up here complaining while Im trying to serve people" which confused me because I complained once about my sauce yet she said I kept complaining which was a lie. Then told me "how about I find one of the waiters who is walking around" I told her I didnt see any. She told me "I will send one over" 10 minutes go by and not once did she attempt to send anybody because I watched her the entire time. I got up and found a manager who did help me resolve a part of my issue with this girl. When she saw me talking to the manager and he walked in the bar area she had a nerve to act innocent. I worked at a restaurant before and they tell you leave ALL negativity AT THE DOOR BEFORE YOUR SHIFT. never in my life have I ever heard an employee talk to a guest this way and she said she was trying to serve other people but I keep complaining as if I wasnt a guest that night spending my money wanting to be served too. I dont know one single soul who would eat cold food especially when they PAID FOR HOT FOOD. There were witnesses around saying how rude of her that was and it pissed me off so bad. I will never come to the upstairs bar and spend my money when shes working. Im only one person but my friends have had bad experiences with her as well and if she continues to treat other guest this way Im sure you will Lose many more. A bartender should have patience she doesnt deserve to be a bartender because she is far from patient! If I could rate zero stars I would because this is not the first time this bartender has been rude to me and to be 100% honest the only time I saw her smile is when I tipped her on a previous occasion. She clearly works for tips which she should because its her job but you should also work for good customer service as well. I hope no one else experiences the feelings I felt.

My first experience tasting Landmark Americanas cuisine was at the 2007 West Chester Restaurant Festival. I thought it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Since there was only limited menu options at the Restaurant Festival, my boyfriend, myself, and another couple went on a Friday night, towards the end of Happy Hour, to try out more of their menu items. It was CRAZY in there, but we were seated immediately and the service was great. Our waitress could not recite everything to us (namely everything on tap, the specials, etc.), but she admitted that she didnt know and she went to find out the answer. I thought that was great because she admitted she didnt know and then she went and got us the answer to our question quickly. As for the meals, I ordered the Filet Minon!! It was approx. $25, and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY!! It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! It was cooked just right, which I prefer no pink in the middle, but it was not overcooked or burnt at all! And the garlic mashed potatoes that came as the side were...TO DIE FOR!! They were so smooth and melted in your mouth! Plus, the garlic was just right...not too much, not too little. I didnt feel like I needed a pack of gum to mask my breath until I got home to brush my teeth, which my boyfriend appreciated as well! :-D My boyfriend and our other friend enjoyed the Tall Beer for the Happy Hour price of $25. They were like pigs in slop! They were loving it! They thought it was decently priced, considering the beer they chose, and they each had approx. 6 beers from it!! The boys also enjoyed the fact that the sports channel was on all the televisions. I didnt particular care for it, but then again, I hardly looked at the televisions anyway. I was there more to have a good time and talk with my friends. But, the televisions definitely made the boys happier! :-D The atmosphere, at least on a Friday night during Happy Hour, is definitely more of a "younger crowd". And by that, I mean most people seemed to be in there mid-20s to early 30s. This is not to say that there were not any families or older individuals there, but during that time, that seemed to be the majority age group. It definitely got loud in there at some points, and the bar seemed very crowded. We were seated at the table closest to the bar, but in the dining area (not the bar area). The crowded bar area did not impact our eating, but when it did get louder, you had to shout so the people at your table could hear you. Since it was Happy Hour though, I was not overly bothered by it and not surprised that it was so loud. However, I think I might be bothered by the noise if I went on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, but that would be a completely different situation. Over all, I had a GREAT Time that night!! I will DEFINITELY recommend Landmark to other people in the future! I think it will be the next Big "IT" Restaurant in West Chester if it keeps heading in this direction. I am looking forward to going there again soon!! :-D

Two weeks ago, I went to Landmark for my friends birthday and the Flyers game. There were about ten people in our party and we wanted to sit down to eat. The host was incredibly rude to me after I simply asked if we could have the table that had just opened by the window. He said he couldn’t promise that seat even though there weren’t any reservations. We did end up being able to sit there, but the waitress was one of the most discourteous servers I have ever encountered. She was incredibly short with me and her attitude was atrocious. Several people in our party were still at the bar but had planned on coming over to order food and drinks. Our lovely waitress was so cold to me personally, shooting me nasty looks, slamming down plates, and purposely coming over to our table about once every two minutes to see if we needed anything (We hadnt even had a chance to pour our beer from the tower we ordered). I might add that we ordered a ton of food... its not like this woman wasnt getting paid amply. Those of us seated at the table were shocked by her appalling behavior. Meanwhile, we returned her snide manner with sincere gratitude. I have been taught that you never know someone’s story, so be kind all the time. (I have to imagine that her story was that she just didn’t like us considering she treated the people at the table next to us with respect and hospitality). We are a group of upstanding adults in our early thirties, not drunk college kids who don’t necessarily notice being treated poorly. Then the power went out because of a bad storm, so my friends ventured over to our table and ordered a plethora of drinks and shots. She looked utterly embarrassed since Im sure she realized her attitude was so rotten, and when it came time to present the bill she hid behind her blonde hair and hardly looked at me. I paid and tipped her my regular 20% even though she was impatient and bad-mannered. Ive decided instead, to stop hosting small company events there with out of town guests from Europe and discontinue giving them business altogether, which will be plenty... you never know who you are dealing with do you? It seems as though Landmark tries to be "posh"... wake up, folks… we aren’t in Manhattan. Also, it takes kindness to have class and in case you never heard it, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
