When we walked in, we had to hunt down a waitress because apparently they dont have a hostess. The waitress I approached replied that she could be our hostess but that we couldnt order the all you can eat crabs because it closed in 15 minutes (never mind that it was 830 and the sign clearly says crabs served until 9pm). Thats ok - I wasnt ordering all you can eat anyways although it is interesting to note that many other tables were still getting served their first round of crabs long after our food was served. We sit down and order - a dozen raw oysters, an original steam pot and the gumbo special- about $65 worth of food. The oysters were awful. A few appeared rotten by smell, they were barely shucked with shell pieces throughout, and the presentation was just gross. We ate three of the dozen. Then our meals came out and the problems continued- the steam pot was missing two items: 4oz lobster and crab cluster. The waitress said "oh, he isnt going to like this" before she took the plate with her. She returned soon after stating the lobster was in the over (I honestly believe she meant microwave oven) and the cook didnt tell her. The lobster was dry, crab was salty, clams and mussels over-cooked and the shrimp were mushy. The best part of my meal was the baked potato. It was a pricey potato. The gumbo "special" was even worse. Although advertised there was no sausage and no flavor. The rice was hard and the dish seemed to be thrown together as if they forgot it was on the menu. It should have been clear to our waitress that the meal was problematic but she didnt bring it up and we just wanted to get out of there. I was wrong in ignoring the poor reviews of past customers. Dont make the same mistake we did. Unless you want to risk a visit on the all you can eat crabs, I would skip this place and drive down the road to Taqueria Moreleon for great, quality food!

We waited for thirty minutes too be seated. Ok , that happens In a busy restaurant. Seated by 7:50, no one from the wait staff Came to get the drink orders. Twenty mins went by i got up got my own drinks from the bar. Sat back down drank our drinks. Still waiting,now 45 mins even after asking a wait staff member if someone was coming to get our order. She said " yes "brought our menu. My date and I said "no need we want the all u can eat crabs" the staff member said "we only do that till 8pm" . It was 8:46 when she said that. I was seated, waiting and got myself and my date two rounds of drinks for 50 min. At that point. I replied to the staff member "your sign says until 9!" She shrugged her shoulders and walked away! So we got up finished our drinks. I even gave my table to the next couple waiting since we werent going to eat. While I was waiting I asked to seeing a manager to inquire some and they never came out. We will never return to this place. Our friends and family had some similar issues there many times. so collectively we after this weekend we have all agrees to not go back and tell most people we know the something.

Hubby and i went to celebrate my very hard earned promotion at work. We had the ayce crabs both blues and legs. I especially like the fact that they werent caked in old bay. They have a very light sprinking and a tub of old bay by the butter if you want more. We had to stop going to our old crab house because no matter how many time we asked for no old bay they would always come out smothered in the salt. Not everyone can have that amount of sodium on their meals. Made us a little dizzy after eating them. Our waitress was on her game and we never waited for anything. The salad bar was good and the french fries were fresh. We stayed for the band and had a BLAST! We will be going back. Dont understand the negative comments. You should go see for yourself.

The FOOD and STAFF were GREAT!! Everyone there was very friendly and social. However...the first I smelled when we walked in the bar area was urine. The ladies room smelled so bad that I had to hold my breath when I went in. The ceiling vent was completely covered with dust, no wonder it stank there was no ventilation. We had to move to the other side of the bar because every time someone went in or out of the bathroom you were hit with this over powering odor. Hopefully with a little extra tlc and Pine Sol the problem will be solved.

It was the worst crabs I every had. The hostess was rude and out of place with her mouth.She was nothing but bar room fly. The butter was pop corn oil and not real butter. I had to ask for real butter for the snow crabs. The blue claw crabs had no O bay season on them, that when I should had left. They dont know how to cook crabs. The corn was hard like they were trying to cook it in the steamer. The bills was 130.00 and I will go to Water mans crab house in Maryland before I every go here again. The worst every

It was our first time at Hilltop Crab House an we Loved it ; all the waitresses were all so nice an so helpful an just so pleasant, which made it even nicer.An the food was so good we enjoyed it so much. I had the Salmon stuffed with crabmeat So darn good,the other family members had crabs an mussels an buckets of Calms an crab Mac N Cheese the big fan tail stuffed shrimp all was so very good an your salad bar was very good.In all we Loved it an can"t wait to come Again!!!

My food was OK when it finally arrived, all you can eat crabs. Needed some cooking lessons on how to make blue crabs. My wife said her seafood sampler had zero flavor and her baked potato was most likely cooked days before. Waitress was horrible. Brought out some food and we had to remind her to keep checking on the other meals. Live music was ok but BOO on the FOOD and SERVICE. Save your money and eat before you go to hear the band.

Got there about 8 PM on Saturday night and in the all you can eat stops at 8:45 PM. There were four people in my party. The blue crabs were small and not worth picking however the crab legs were good. At first star service was a little slow however it did pick up she came back and checked on our table at 8:15 PM and pretty much 15 minutes after that. I will go back again but they do have to work on their blue claw crabs

This place was a complete disaster for my family! We came in hopes to have a good fathers day meal. The food was disgusting, the crab legs took 15 min to refill after we had already finished. The staff was completely disrespectful and when asked to speak to the manager she yelled at us and walked away as disrespectful as could be. DO NOT EAT HERE & SERVE THESE GREEDY PEOPLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!
