Bowling was good, but I went to concession bar asking for a cup so I could get water and bring back for my son. I pointed to a Pepsi cup and the young girl said she wasnt allowed to give those out. I said okay how about the Styrofoam cup by the slushy machine. She said no we arent allowed to give those out either. So I asked her if she could put water in a cup from the soda fountain machine for me and she said she would have to charge me a dollar. I would have paid the friggin dollar ahead of time if she would if just said Im sorry but we charge a dollar for whatever. However, rolling her eyes in her head, and saying it didnt sit well with me. The employees are extremely rude and ignorant. No one smiles or greets you with a smile. If youre miserable, dont make me and my familys experience miserable. This is unfortunately the last time we will be back. A shame since weve been going there for years with our family and we use to have our monthly company get together there. Not any more after this. Terrible customer service.

I have been a member of bowling leagues year round at Berks Lanes; I gave it top rating for the following reasons: their employees are friendly, helpful, and hardworking plus the facility itself is a clean, modern, and spacious bowling alley which offers everyone something fun and enjoyable to do. Berks Lanes has billiards tables; a game room that contains a lot of the types of games that appeal to todays young people; a snack bar that sells a wide range of food and drinks to choose from its menu; and forty recently upgraded lanes to bowl. You can join one of the many leagues available, and/or bowl single games during the open bowling hours, and/or choose to roll during one of their weekly "glow" bowl timeframes. The atmosphere at Berks Lanes is very welcoming and family friendly. I encourage everyone (even if you have never bowled before in your life!) to spend a couple hours of your leisure time at Berks Lanes located in Shillington PA and definitely worth its 5 star rating!

Great place to have some fun. Prices were good, and it looked pretty decent. Midnight bowl here is awesome, and you can even rent a lane for 2 hours for $42.95 with up to 6 bowlers. Good deals and good service. If you are hungry after you bowl and do not want to eat there, like us, I suggest that you DO NOT GO TO TACO BELL on Berkshire Boulevard afterwards. Their manager is rude and arrogant.

A great place for bowling. Berks Lanes offers many youth mentoring and championship programs. Unfortunately, the coaches are hard to get rid of and they will try and talk to you OUTSIDE of bowling. As of now, they are mostly full on Saturdays, Sundays, and incredibly full on Mondays. Decent food, unless you order from the bar. A great place for a birthday party, and a good place to start.

Not a big bowler...only bowl maybe 2 times a year. Berks Lanes is HUGE, always clean, and doesnt smell bad like other allies (that distinctive sweaty-shoe smell all allies have). We love that we can get a pitcher of beer at the lane! We often go there just to play pool. They have a nice arcade for people who are into that.

I have had the opportunity to bowl all over the country. Berks Lanes is one of my favorite bowling sites anywhere. Terrific facilitys, very friendly people and truly a wonderful bowling experience whether you are bowling tournament, league or simply out with friends or family. Id recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to go if you enjoy bowling. Its clean with modern amenities and a nice layout. Decent food at the snack bar. On-site sports bar, arcade and pro shop. Good prices, especially during off-peak hours.

Standard bowling alley accomodations, prices and quality. Clean and safe, noisy as expected. Newer and well maintained. Arcade and pool tables entertain non bowlers. Arcade is geared toward pre-teens.

Fun family oriented activitys . Large area filled with pool tables as well as a full game room that takes tokens instead of quarters. Staff is helpfu,l bowling lanes are well maintained and clean.

Berks Lanes is my favorite out of all the bowling alleys we go to. The employees are wonderful and the food is great. Lanes are maintained really well and there is always a fun event going on.

A busy and lively place for bowling. Sometimes you dont get Lanes when there is a tournament going on. You get food but mostly junk. Lanes are good. Glow bowling is good.

There are a lot of lanes and it seems pretty clean but the employees are VERY rude. Ive been here many times and they only seem to treat the league bowlers with respect.
