After dining alone one evening I was feeling like a social drink and I went to the Bar With No Name which I had visited a few times. However now when you enter this location they have three thoroughly untrained and totally unprofessional persons wearing Security attire at the entrance to the bar. They displayed absolutely no PR skills whatsoever. No eye contact, no smile and no verbal greeting. Police arrest people with more discretion then these guys displayed. In spite of my 60+ age I was asked for my license and although I did not see for certain I believe they recorded / scanned it into their data base hello do I want everyone who will come into contact with that data system knowing my personal information I dont think so. While my license information was being recorded without my permission the second security guard told me you have to check you coat. There was an obvious directness about his manner and once again it lacked the respectfully decorum one would expect. I ignored his manner and waited for my license to be handed to me. Once this was done I was told that there was a 5.00 cover charge. Then I noticed that the third security guard was holding a portable metal detector I asked whats that for? He replied It was for my own protection. That was it, I turned and politely said, I have to think about this for a moment and then I left. I was thinking its going to cost me 17.00 to have an after dinner drink my dinner at the buffet was less then that. Oh well I left there thinking if they need that much security maybe I dont want to part of a group and frequent a place that has a clientele that necessitates this much security. If your out on a date find another place to take your lady.

Did a VIP birthday there the service was horrible had to bring my own bottles from the bar to my table and was charged a gratuity fee of $50.00 that they failed to mention on the phone when booking. The venue was small and the music was terrible will never go there again waste of time and money.

On April 23rd I had my 53rd birthday party there It was wonderful. My people really had a great time. I will do the V.I.P again. The party planner Serena was is a wonderful person to work with. I do come there ever now and then and every time I go there I have a good time.

Liked the older crowd ... Always good music and good vibes ... Sad the dj thats usually there is gone now .. Hope its making positive changes ... Will check out the new,djs soon
