As a former employee I can say that All the chefs, pizza makers and everyone else cooks with there gloves off even the waiters will touch your food with out gloves to adjust something. this place is very low on health rules and they even get there tater tots from shop rite I saw with my own eyes. They have a stack of bacon in the back that they even keep stacked up and leave overnight. I have worked at places like Pencader dinning hall down at UD and McDonalds and have never seen things so unsanitary in a restaurant this place used to be owned by the big fish grill restaurant chain and ever since they left the service and management has went down hill. Most of the food here is just stuff you can make your self at home. except you can make it better at home. I would suggest you try any of the other restaurants on the riveter front. When I say I have worked at tons of Other restaurants and places this is by far the most unsanitary, unprofessional and cheapest place I have ever worked. As a former employee I may sound like an angry one but. I have tried to be as professional as possible with the management chain in this horrible restaurant. not even the real tall guy whos supposed to be running things is professional. The head chef him self cooks with out gloves. And that review about rats further down just sums up how dirty this restaurant is, I can most defiantly believe they have rats here considering how low on sanitation they are and dont much care for it either. Please do not give this restaurant your business.

My wife and I have been here 2 times. Our initial visit wasnt terrible. We both ordered pizzas as was recommended by friends. The food was not terrible but definitely not great. Service was okay at best. At that time we both agreed that it was decent enough to come back again but wouldnt be first choice. (Olive Garden would sadly top this place). Second visit was for a graduation party of one of my wifes co-workers. The service that was provided to the entire party was sub-par at best. But thats just the start. My wife and I got terrible food poisoning from the pizza! How? No clue, Im assuming that it was some sort of cross contamination. What made our experience horrible is how this was handled. I called management the very next day (Monday) which they are closed so I left a message. No call back. Then I call again later in the week, finally speak to the GM. He states that he will look into it and that all food contamination claims need to be handled by upper level and they will reach out. Needless to say I never heard back from them and its been over a month. Im not a person to look for freebies and I NEVER complain. My initial call was to simply warn them so others did not get sick as well. I believe my lack of anger and looking for something was mistaken for weakness and Im sure they never looked into this. If you dont want to get sick I would avoid this place. If I can get sick off of a plain pizza Im sure their food handling is not up to code at all.

Upon arrival, we were greeted nicely by the valet staff, but with checking in with the outdoor hostess, she told us that we could be seated on the deck but with the warning that we would need to order entrees. That was only the first warm, welcoming rule. We were then instructed that we could stay at the table no longer than 90 minutes! At that point, with several open tables, and no one waiting for a table, we didnt feel it was necessary for these rules to be mentioned. We should have then left, but were seated. The waitress brought our drinks promptly but then continued to return to the table about every 4 minutes until we had a chance to decide on appetizers. We then had entrees, as instructed. Had the place been more crowded, we could have understood the pressure to eat, drink, then GET OUT!!! Instead of staying and enjoying more drinks, and the live music, we were definitely ready to part and go spend our money elsewhere! So much for hospitality- you wont find it here! Food and drinks were average, water view was nice.

I too have had a similar experience to what other reviewers here have mentioned. Ive been here a few times with just my wife, but one night we walked in to an almost empty dinining room with our little one, only to be told we would have to eat outside (Due to a "private function", despite any signage saying so, and other sporadic diners at tables). Ok..it was nice enough outside that day, but when we got to the outside hostess we were given the same "you have to order two entrees and 90 minute cap" speech. I had actually come there for the Buffalo chicken Pizza, but was told that did not count as an entree. We ended up leaving and racked up a healthy bill at Joes Crab Shack instead. If you dont have available seating inside (questionable to begin with) You should not treat your guests like the soup Nazi if you have to seat them elsewhere. Having never run into that there before, im assuming they werent too welcoming to having families in their restaurant. Havent been back since!

I have been here over 50 times, whether its for a drink or for food. Its definitely a place to go if you want to have a drink after work. Outdoor atmosphere is great (outside bar and sofas), inside bar is alright, dining area is below par. Food: other than the pizza, dont bother. Anything that requires some skill, they seem to mess up. Even the salads there suck. Their happy hour menu is absolutely horrible (everything is fried) but the drink specials are average. Bartender thinks a dry martini is a martini with a lot of vermoth in it, "because it says very dry on the label, thats why they call it a dry martini." What a joke...Its a restaurant that wants to be an upbeat, trendy, after-work hangout for bankers. It succeeds, but only because people go there for the outside patio. Winter time its dead.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! The staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional and were actually using profanity as they were "grouped" together talking, I had my 2 children with me so it was quite disturbing. When I asked for them to please keep it down they simply rolled their eyes, and then began talking about ME (loud enough for me to hear.) I asked for a manager, but one never came and I wanted to leave quictkly. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior, The employees at McDonalds have more class. As my family and I were leaving at around 7:30pm, there were some, Im assuming "bouncers" standing around making a deragatory statement about a female sitting outside. That was the final straw..this complaint will go directly to the management company!

Fun place. Come all the time mainly for the awesome bartenders and of course, the pizza! Food has gotten better over the years. Tried coming for lunch a few times to sit outside. Such a nice patio and view; but service outside is consistently bad. Today was icing on the cake..... Server tried to tell me that the dressing on the side of my plate (balsamic vinegar) WAS the dressing for the salmon BLT. I had to correctly confirm her understanding that that was for the side salad and that the BLT was dry (missing the aioli sauce). She went as far as saying, "I see it right there" (pointing at my sandwich). To prove my point, I opened the sandwich to show her. Seriously ? Now Im eating a salmon salad .... not bad actually. Just could do without the bad service.
