As a short term RV visitor to the area, Lewis River was recommended to me by a local during a short conversation. Glad our conversation included golf. As a RV traveller, I play public golf courses all over the country, but it’s rare to find one the caliber of Lewis River and at a very reasonable rate. The scenery of this course is beautiful, it is well manicured, and the greens were in excellent shape. The greens are undulating and, on the day I played, extremely fast. I’m not a bad putter, but I suffered through five 3-putts (stay below the hole). As a single who had never seen the course, I asked the Pro Shop Staff to pair me with someone who had played the course previously and they were more than willing to do so. Many thanks for that and I recommend other first timers do the same. You can hit driver a lot on this course, but you better be able to control it or the mature trees will make you pay. I look forward to playing LRGC again when I’m back in the area and wouldnt hesitate to become a member if I lived in the area. Great track and a ton of fun!

Was told this was a good course so a friend, and I drove from Beaverton with a mid-afternoon tee time. Got there and found out they had a one-hour back up on tee times due to a tournament that was running slow. Not a frost delay, so no big deal. We stuck it out and were ready to play. Well we finally got going and finished up the first hole only to have another three groups sitting on the next tee box. At this point we were getting angry. Played a few more holes thinking it might open up but the next par 3 had the same situtation. We called it a day and went to the club house for our money back. They wouldnt give us our money and only issued a course credit. F-That. I drove all the way from Beaverton to be screwed by this course and their poor planning and marshalling. I never returned to this course to collect my credit, it has expired, and I will never play or recommend this course. Also, there are much better courses around Portland, so save yourself the drive. Nothing special here.

I played 36 holes there (back to back). Standard rate seemed a tad steep but the replay made up for it a little bit. The course is in good shape and was a great course for walking; even on a hot day. Cell phone service coverage out there is terrible. The have WiFi in pockets of the clubhouse but I was unable to pick that up from their restaurant. They should strongly consider putting in a repeater inside the restaurant. I probably wont make the trip out there again unless I plan on playing 36. It is a bit of a drive for me.

We eat here quite often and the food and service are 4 star. However today I had a Mexican salad with black beans, corn and chopped tomatoes on a bed of tortilla strips. It arrived minus the black beans and chopped tomatoes with the strips on top and not on the bottom. I inquired where were the black beans and was told there were none, WHAT? Beans are the staple of Mexican cooking and l would have never ordered it. She took $2.00 off, big deal!

If i could go zero i would! The server made sure to tell us she had a bad day so screw us! After that she asked us what we wanted to be servered! We said nothing! We paid for our drinks and left! I have been in costumer service for 20 years and have never ever ever experienced anthing like this! This place is classless! Please dont waste your time here if you dont want your feelings hurt by stressed out staff members.

Yesterday, June 30th, 2013, I was given the honor to officiate the Wedding of Eric & Sylvia Cerdenas Wedding at the Lewis River Golf Course and had an excellent experience! The temperature was close to 100 degrees and the staff was very accommodating and helped with any and every problem that came up. It ended up being a lovely outdoor Wedding and indoor reception!

We arent golfers, but we love the restaurant. Food is good (not great), but the atmosphere is a 10 sitting outside by the Lewis River. Also, prices are good and the waitstaff are so accommodating and nice. We continue to go back over and over again. A gorgeous setting!

The holes are lined with mature trees and a driver isnt probably a good choice on the front nine unless you are a very accurate driver. Plus, the holes are relatively short. After the round, the food is good with a decent selection which rotates every month or so.

Course staff needs help. No Marshall to manage pace of play. First time in my life I had a 3 hour 9 hole. Course play Seemed decent, few tee boxes seemed a little out of place (teeing off across other holes tee boxes). Not worth my hour drive to return.

I love this course! Its a little bit expensive, but its a nice course to walk and has a hole along the river, along with some other great views. Its in good shape, the back 9 is tough and so is the 600 yard par 5!

Very good food, beautiful setting. My friends and I love to have lunch there outside on the patio. The flowers are gorgeous, landscaping fantastic, and the river is beautiful.

Great place to eat! The view of the Lewis River from the outside patio is wonderful. I look forward to eating there every summer.
